The self-titled debut album was finally released in 1987, and, by that time, Richie Scarlet had been replaced by Tod Howarth. Spawing the top 30 rock hit "Into The Night", that successful album was followed by the live EP 'Live +1' and later by the full length studio album 'Second Sighting' in 1988. Anton Fig had a full-time gig with the Late Night with David Letterman studio band, and he had been replaced by Jamie Oldaker on drums.
In 1989, the album 'Trouble Walkin'' was released. This album was released as a solo album by Ace Frehley because of the change to a rougher sound and music style. Still. the band behind the release was the original line-up of Frehley's Comet. At any rate, Frehley's Comet as a band was no more.
Dolls
Frehley's Comet Lyrics

Waiting just to freely please me
While I wash they're occupied
Cleaning things so sweetly neatly
When I play they play with me
Willing to do anything
I live me dolls
It's plain to see, they really love me
I love my dolls,
They'll never leave me happily
While I sleep they keep me warm
Nestled right beside me, tightly
As I eat they wait on me
Making sure I'm satisfied
I live me dolls
You must believe me
It's plain to see, they really love me
I love my dolls,
They'll never leave me happily
When friends come over theey're astonished by the sight
So many dolls in just one place gives them a fright
Don't understand what makes them so uncomfortable...
Around my dolls
I live me dolls
You must believe me
It's plain to see, they really love me
I love my dolls,
They'll never leave me happily
The lyrics to Frehley's Comet's song "Dolls" are a unique and interesting portrayal of the relationship between the singer and his dolls. The lyrics describe the dolls as always being there for him, willing to please him in any way, and providing him with comfort and satisfaction. The singer even goes as far as saying that he loves his dolls and that they'll never leave him happily.
The lyrics also touch on how others perceive the singer's relationship with his dolls, with his friends being frightened and uncomfortable around them. This could be interpreted as the singer feeling isolated and rejected by society because of his unconventional love for his dolls.
Overall, the lyrics to "Dolls" present a thought-provoking perspective on unconventional relationships and the societal norms that often reject them.

Never was a big Kiss fan but always thought Ace was cool. I loved this album from start to finish. Even this kind of quirky song!

This song is so damn quirky. It has a weird atmosphere to it and it’s catchy as hell. I picture the strangest things in my head when I hear it. I hear the past, present and future😂. What an oddball masterpiece this is.
