@Kevin Bissinger last place I rented was less than 2 years ago. And sure it was a crappy complex that was 754 per month for a single bedroom.
But I have never have hady credit run for any of the 4 places I have rented. 2 of them were complexes owned by big companies and 2 were owned by just people.
As long as I made more that 5 times the total rental cost neither cared. And a social was given for a background check, but made it contingent that my credit not be run and only for criminal background check purposes.
But I have good references and have never made less than 84k a year as a single person.
As of two years ago I don't even have a credit score because if you do not use credit, your credit score stops existing after 6-8 years. How do people who have no credit score like myself operate in society? It's because we don't take out credit at all, if you don't use credit you literally have no credit score. Mine was very high and the longer I didn't use credit the lower that score drifted until it no longer existed.
Don't use a credit card, have a loan or the like and in a few short years you won't have a credit score.
Also make society run by your rules not run by the crappy ones set by society. I dictated my terms to not have my credit run as a term for me to even rent. I've lived in both big and small cities renting. And have rented throughout the US.
Whatever I Want Channel
Changing your name in the US is SO annoying. At least in Pennsylvania, you first have to fill out a form, then you have to turn it in to the courthouse, and then you have to go the police station to get fingerprinted. Then, you have to go back to the courthouse, turn that in, and then you have to call and/or go to two publishers to post about your legal name change. You can pay hundreds if not thousands for this. Then, you have to wait for those to circulate, and then wait for a court date. From there you go to court, and the judge signs your papers to make it official. Then you have to go back to the courthouse a while later to get legal notices of name change documents.
Now, you can individually show this document to smaller institutions to get them to change your name in their systems. But not banks, those need a driver's license.
To get that, you need a social security card which is a whole other debacle. (fork over your legal name change document, and your birth certificate to them, wait a few weeks for your documents to be returned.)
Then, you can get your driver's license updated. (legal name change document and new social security card. if you want REALID keep your card on its attached sheet of mailing paper, so as to have a confirmed address. Otherwise, you're going to need a water bill or something like that.
Then, you can go to the banks. bring your driver's license, and probably also your legal name change document. You also can apply for a new passport. (I still need to do this part)
On that subject, depending on your exact age and financial situation, there are some things you literally cannot change yourself. My medical insurance has my old name on it, because it is given through my father's work, and no one can change the information on it except him, not even my mother. He hasn't changed it for over two years.
All the while during this process, you're confronted with disclaimers and asked to confirm you are not trying to escape the legal system, it really makes you feel like you're a criminal for just wanting a different name than your parents gave you. On the bright side, the police station I went to uses a digital fingerprinting machine, so you only get your hand manhandled by the officer and squished into a sheet of glass, and don't have to leave the station with stained fingers. Hurray.

So couple of things (I'm in the US). If you a starting a new life as in running away from people/company/government, this entire video falls apart pretty fast because you need to get out of advanced countries and head to third world countries with little to no biometrics. Getting out the border on its own is hard but not impossible but will absolutely cost money/resources. On the low end, your looking at spending $10,000 for fake documents, $10-20k to get out the border quietly, and another $10 to $20k cash to get you on your feet. Not many people have $30-40k lying around and this is why almost every one gets caught with a little digging. You can never contact old acquaintances because its very easy to get tracked.
In the video he glosses over work and how to get a source of income. Freelance work is INCREDIBLY HARD to do. You will be paid nothing early and will have to commit lots of time and resources building up your clientele who will do their own checks on you. More likely you will probably have to find a some company that pays little. Accounting is a decent profession, web design/web development, math tutoring, or some manual labors will get you started. You need to start making money very fast, because people underestimate just how fast money disappears as hidden costs are everywhere.
The social media thing is ok but most will ask for an older profile at some point. Your better off buying a stolen account. Small things will give you away. When I'm talking to say, a girl. A dead giveaway that the girl has not given you her personal account is simply to see if other women are commenting on her posts. If its only or mostly men, its a big red flag. Most women (normal people who are not trying to be influencers) have posts with other women commenting. Men don't always have this.
