I heard this playing in a restaurant today. So amazing.
I remember very clearly Tate’s first professional song, titled “One Day” and immediately knowing that this girl was bound to go far. Her then young voice knew no limits.
I remember “Strangers”, “3am”, “Teenage Mind”… etc etc etc.
2 years ago when she published Dear Parents, I remember thinking, “wow! Tate’s gotten so much older! I remember her when she was very young!”
A while later, I remember seeing Tate McRae on multiple VEVO ads. Whenever I saw her, I teared up in pride over all her accomplishments.

I’ve known him for almost 5 months now and how we met is definitely not something you would see everyday.
On my birthday one of my close friends posted a happy birthday message for one of his other friends
I thought, huh let’s add him for the craic and say happy birthday. I thought I would never talk to him again after this
He added me back and I said happy birthday and he said I was just gonna say the same
We became best friends after a short amount of time and he was second on my best friend list for a long time
Then he started getting distant and i confronted him about it and everything went back to normal
Then one day in March he said something that kind of hurt my feelings and I told him I wasn’t gonna talk to him anymore and he just responded with “ok”
After a few weeks I was out and saw him with another girl and that was the moment I realised I had feelings for him, when I had stopped in my tracks and my heart literally broke
I had become friends with one of his close friends and asked him for advice
After a couple of messy days we became friends again and he apologised for what he had said
That was about 6 weeks ago
He stopped talking to that girl he was with
Now in the past two weeks he has been acting different
Always wanting to hang out with me, always answering my FaceTimes and talking to me for hours, and he walked me home one night, even though he lives on the complete other side of town
We also both like marvel, and are going to see doctor strange mom together on thursday ❤️
