In 1999, the band independently released their self titled EP (referred to as "The Green Album"). At this time, they were also opening for bands such as Amen, Disturbed, Nickelback and Nothingface.
They later signed with Arista Records, where they released two major label albums in One Nation Under (which features many re-recorded songs from their self titled album) (2001) and My So-Called Life (2003). They had two music videos which are for their songs "Check Ya" and "Smack", both of which can be viewed over on You Tube. Before the recording of My So-Called Life, bassist Rob Ruccia left the band to do production work on other bands, leaving vocalist Jett to record the bass for the album. They later recruited Avi Kopernik to play bass for the group's live shows.
After being dropped by Arista less than a month after the release of My So-Called Life, they went to work preparing for their third album. As time went on, writing music became a chore and Jett with nothing to fall back on, needed to concentrate on a day job to support his family. Joe Pettinato, who already had a construction business, then left the band, and the rest of the group called it quits in 2005. Two songs from the intended album, "Middle of the Road" and "My Own Destiny", can still be streamed on their official PureVolume page.
Although they have not gained widespread popularity within the music community as a whole, they are well recognized both in the Chicago area and among nu metal fans.
Lines
From Zero Lyrics

Wants some company
Always finding the time
Always finding the time
Always making the time for us
And all the time that we spent laughing, loving
Always comforting
Always coming around
Will it come back around again
I used to think that we were cool
Never thought you'd tell me lies
Never thought you'd lead me on
But you stuck it in my face
And you stabbed me in my back
Now I'm stuck here on my own
All I ever wanted
Was for us to keep that feeling
You cross me once, you cross the line
I said come on come on
I'm gonna make you see the light
I'm gonna make things turn out right this time
You cross me once, you cross the line
I said come on come on
I'm gonna make you see the light
I'm gonna make things turn out right
I'm gonna make you feel me
Now that you've shown me your true colors
Guess it's time to say goodbye
See ya some other time
See ya some other time
Catch you some other time I said
Why did you have to be so cat-like, cold-like
It was easier to run me around
Yeah, to run me around
You were running inside my head
Someone tell me what to feel or who's to blame
Did we lead very separate lives
Everybody that you meet
Walks to the beat of a different drum
I'm gonna make you feel me
The lyrics to From Zero's song "Lines" describe the betrayal and disappointment felt by the singer after discovering that their friend or lover was not as trustworthy as they initially believed. The opening lines express how the singer felt that their relationship was strong and reliable, always making time for each other and enjoying each other's company. However, it becomes clear that the other person was not as committed as the singer was, and eventually broke their trust.
The chorus highlights the singer's desire to make the other person see the error of their ways and make things right, but it is also a warning that there are consequences to crossing the line and betraying someone's trust. The final verse acknowledges the pain that the singer feels, but also asserts that they will not be defeated by this betrayal, and will make the other person feel the full extent of their hurt.
Overall, "Lines" is a powerful and emotive song about the fragility of trust and the pain that comes with betrayal. It speaks to anyone who has ever felt let down by someone they thought they could count on, and the need to stand up for oneself and demand justice.

All I ever wanted
My only desire was
Was for us to keep that feeling

We'll cross paths in the future
Catch you some other time I said
We'll meet again someday, I said
Why did you have to be so cat-like, cold-like
Why did you have to be so manipulative and distant
It was easier to run me around
It was easier to play games with my emotions
Yeah, to run me around
Yes, to manipulate me
You were running inside my head
You were making me question my own thoughts
Someone tell me what to feel or who's to blame
I need someone to help me sort through my emotions and figure out who is at fault
Did we lead very separate lives
Did we have drastically different experiences
Everybody that you meet
Everyone you come across
Walks to the beat of a different drum
Has their own unique perspective and motivations
I'm gonna make you feel me
I will make you understand my perspective
