In 1989, the group returned with the album Gashed Senses & Crossfire, which contained the dance-flavored singles "Digital Tension Dementia" and "No Limit." A European tour in support of the record yielded a live album -- titled simply, Live -- that was released and deleted on the same day in a limited edition of 4,000 pressings. After Balch departed Front Line Assembly in 1990, Fulber stepped in as a full partner; the streamlined duo soon released the electro-styled album Caustic Grip, while 1992's Tactical Neural Implant found the group's music moving in a more hard-edged disco direction. By 1994, the sound evolved yet again, with the album Millennium displaying a newfound reliance on guitars; both the title track and "This Faith" scored as club hits. Fulber departed the lineup by 1997, while his replacement Chris Peterson debuted with 1998's Flavour of the Weak. A best-of/remix compilation, Monument, was released the same year, as well as Re-Wind, a re-mix collection of material from Flavour of the Weak. Implode appeared one year later. Sticking with a heavy dose of synth-pop trance and throbbing melodies,Leeb and Peterson issued Epitaph in fall 2001.
Once again re-united as FLA, Bill And Rhys released a killer single 'Maniacal' (2003) as a precursor to the new album 'Civilization' (2004) and the sighs of relief amongst FLA fans were audible across the globe. 'Maniacal' is good old-fashioned FLA bought up to date whilst B-side 'Anti' shows that messers Leeb and Fulber can still produce stark and dark Industrial.
For the first time, Bill Leeb, Rhys Fulber, and Chris Peterson have joined ranks. The trio, with new members Jeremy Inkel and Adrian White, began work on Artificial Soldier in early 2005, and it was time well spent. Just release in June 2006 the newly re-formed line-up managed to create a release that should live up to the expectations of Front Line Assembly fans. Heavy pounding beats, atmospheric strings, percolating melodies, dynamic synths and Bill Leeb's trademark vocals are the norm here. Two guest vocalists also appear on Artificial Soldier. Eskil Simonsson from Covenant (on “The Storm”) and Jean-Luc De Meyer from Front 242 (on “Future Fail”).
Other projects include: Conjure One, Delerium, Pro-Tech, Synaesthesia, Will, Intermix, Noise Unit, Equinox, Cyberaktif and Mutual Mortuary.

Everything Must Perish
Front Line Assembly Lyrics

No one left for us to please
A perfect world where no one dies
Go to heaven with your lies
Wasted and confused
I walk around with my shortened fuse
A fire burns inside my head
In my dreams I see the end
A perfect circle never bends
As time and hope erode our fears
I close my eyes for one last tear
Tomorrow may never come
Mountains clash in the sun
The freezing snow starts to melt
A quiet moment to myself
Reflecting somewhere on the past
I hope this feeling will always last
In paradise we stand alone
Forgotten king without a throne
A bird takes flight, now out of sight
The sun catches its shadow
Come alive
Above in the air, there is no despair
We are waiting for the moment
A darkened shadow hides my face
I hope I won't forget this place
This burning sky that we call home
In the end we stand alone
Tomorrow may never come
Mountains clash in the sun
The freezing snow starts to melt
A quiet moment to myself
Reflecting somewhere on the past
I hope this feeling will always last
In paradise we stand alone
Forgotten king without a throne
A bird takes flight, now out of sight
The sun catches its shadow
Above in the air, there is no despair
We are waiting for the moment
"Everything Must Perish" by Front Line Assembly is a song that elicits feelings of despair, loss, and confusion from the listener. The opening lines of the song set the tone for what's to come, with the singer observing the destruction around them and wondering what's left for them to do. The image of the smoke clearing to reveal lifeless trees paints a dark picture of a world that has become barren and lifeless. The lyrics suggest that the singer has lost all hope in this world and is waiting for death.
The second stanza of the song speaks to the inner turmoil of the singer, with lines like "Wasted and confused, I walk around with my shortened fuse" and "A fire burns inside my head, is this living or am I dead?" The singer is grappling with their own mortality and the meaning of their existence in this bleak world. The dream-like lyric "In my dreams I see the end, a perfect circle never bends" speaks to the singer's desire for closure and a final resolution to their story.
The third stanza features a glimmer of hope amidst the despair, with the singer reflecting on the beauty of nature and the lasting impression it leaves on people. The image of a bird taking flight and the sun catching its shadow is a symbol of renewal and the cycle of life starting anew. The final lines of the song proclaim that "Above in the air, there is no despair, we are waiting for the moment," conveying the idea that while there may be darkness in the present, there is always the possibility for hope and change in the future.

This is by far the most amazing track ever recorded. Deep, apocalyptic, pure truth. Epitath was generally incredible, but this is a unique masterpice! ./\.

I think this song perfectly describes the feeling of knowing everything will end soon, or that you are about to die. And you sit down reflecting and see things in nature, as the "bird takes flight, now out of sight, sun catches it's shadow" and see things in a way you never have before.

epitaph, civilization, artificial soldier. these albums have songs full of feelings. full of truly feelings. Pessimism, bitterness, rottenness, disgust, social decay and melancholy. However ..these songs describes only pure truth....to last word. Some songs may sound like prophecies. For example: Look back and think of Mindphaser from Tactical neural implant..- computers and machines de facto control our lives nowadays. If only more people listen to this and realize the state we,re in.
