2) Frozen Ghost is Barry Wynn, a South African psytrance producer who has been releasing music since 2004.
3) Psychedelic guitar heavy rock from Swiss musician Helmut Müller who released the album Nature Of Magic on Black Rills records in 1979.
1.) Frozen Ghost was a Canadian rock band that formed in 1985 by Arnold Lanni and Wolf Hassel, who were previously with the band Sheriff. "Should I See", an anti-censorship song, became a minor hit in the United States, reaching 69th position on Billboard's Hot 100 singles in 1987. The video for that song was nominated for Best Video of the Year at the 1987 Juno Awards, but lost to Glass Tiger's "Someday".
On their final album, "Shake Your Spirit" there were two official additions to the band. John Bouvette, who was on drums and percussion, and Phil X who did some vocals, and played the guitar. Phil X was also credited on the album "Nice Place To Visit" for being a guitarist, but was not considered an official band member until the final album was released.
Frozen Ghost disbanded in 1993.
2.) Frozen Ghost is one of the new breed of of psy-trance producers to hail from the windy city of Cape Town, South Africa. Having grown up listening to Punk rock, Thrash and Hip hop, Barry’s attention then ventured into the more experimental side of electronic music, where he found his true passion in psy-trance. Combining raw elements of serious groove and aggression, meshed with spine-chilling synthetic atmospheric tones and undertones, demented samples and creative percussion, set him up to make the trade mark name that is Frozen Ghost. Since his first single, released on Afrogalactic Records, late 2004, followed by his debut album “Just One Bite”, the distinct cutting edge sound from Frozen Ghost has morphed, manipulated and marveled dance floors in countries such as Israel, Japan and South Africa. Having collaborated with and number of different producers (such as Hiyarant, Zion Linguist, B55, Lost & Found), and following a number of releases on labels such as MMD Records, Yabai Records, Noize Conspiracy Records and Vision Records, as well as compiling the MMD compilation, appropriately called “Cold Conclusion”, his second album was released on Yabai Records September 2007, and was entitled “Edible Technique”. Since then, he has continued to experiment with all facets of music and sound, developing the ever-evolving signature sound of Frozen Ghost which has captured the inner minds of the listeners at home and on the dance floors worldwide.

Frozen Ghost Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
War for peace it seems a contradiction
What is right and wrong?
What is fact and fiction?
Sisters and brothers
Isn't that the story?
To love one another
To live and let live
Isn't that what you say?
A little love goes a long long way
Step by step we can get there
Step by step we can get to other side
Step by step we can get there
Step by step we can get there
Hand in hand like guns and bibles
Love and hate seem to have conditions
What is truth and lies?
What's a sin without contrition?
Who throws the first stone
If everyone's a sinner?
We reap what we sow
Who should judge?
To live and let live
Isn't that what you say?
A little love goes a long long way
Step by step we can get there
Oh, Step by step we can get to other side
Step by step we can get there
Oh, Step by step
step by step
Everybody's got a way to justify
What is truth and what's a lie
Everybody's a got a way to save the world
But nothing ever changes
Though nothing stays the same
It's so easy to point the finger
Nobody ever wants to take the blame
So who throws the first stone
If everyone's a sinner?
If we reap what we sow
Then who should judge?
To live and let live
Isn't that what you say?
A little love goes a long long long way
Step by step we can get there
Oh, Step by step
Step by step we can get there
Oh, it's not so far, it's not so far
Step by step we can get there
Step by step, side by side, we can get to the other side
Step by step we can get there
Oh, step by step, step by step
The opening verse of Frozen Ghost's "Step by Step" speaks about the contradiction that war seems to bring about peace. The symbolism of hand in hand "like guns and bibles" perfectly encapsulates the idea of contradiction. The singer then questions the difference between right and wrong and fact and fiction. The following verse is a reference to the biblical story of brothers and sisters – Cain and Abel. It talks about loving one another and living together in peace. It's a message of unity, love, and acceptance, and of course, the act of forgiving that supports everyone. It suggests treating people with kindness and respect, no matter what their background is.
The chorus talks about the importance of taking small steps towards the goal, whether it's in life, a relationship, or society. The phrase "step by step" is repeated throughout the song, emphasizing the importance of perseverance and taking things one day at a time. The singer recognizes the complexity of society's problems and the difficulty of finding solutions, but encourages listeners that by taking things slowly and working together, success is possible.
The final verse deals with the idea of judgment. The singer questions who is entitled to throw stones or make judgments when everyone is a sinner. By working together and treating others with kindness, we can slowly create a better society step by step. The song builds a message of unity, love, acceptance, and forgiveness by encouraging listeners to take baby steps towards a better world.
