When Fufü-ai's singer, Anouk Chauvet, arrived in Catalunya in 1995 she was a vocalist for Color Humano (a Franco-Spanish roots band). At that time she was working together with musician and producer Tomasín (Les Casse-Pieds, Mano Negra, Color Humano, Dusminguet, etc.). Since then Anouk writes lyrics, paints pictures, and participates in different projects in Barcelona such as Juanito Piquete, Muchachito Bombo Infierno, Pirates Urbains, Des+Karadas, etc.. Anouk and Tomasín came back together again in 2004 with the first acoustic collaboration of Laia Cardó (Brazuca Matraca), Juantxo Grajales (Doble Zero) and Eduard Mayora (Alquimistes Folls). During 2005 Fufü-ai went on a long tour called "La ruta de los elefantes" ("The elephant's route"), which brought the band to all of the key musical venues in Barcelona. Their first record "Petite fleur", was produced by Tomasín and released by Kasba Music in 2006. By then the band had gone electric, and they had presented their album all over France and Spain. When Oscar Blanco (Drums) and Fernando Redondo (Bass) joined the band in 2007 the current line up was complete. The same year they went back into the studio to record their second album "For Ever" (Kasba Music, Bcn).

Woo oo ooo oo ouu uuu yeah
Barcelone you're welcome
Barcelone funky town
Barcelone with a handsome boy
Barcelone what a pretty town
Tanta gente nadie como tú
I've never felt that way before I've met you
That's why I want to be with you
Woo oo ooo oo ouu uuu yeah
Woo oo ooo oo ouu uuu yeah
Barcelone I'm alone
Barcelone I'm so down
Barcelone my baby's gone
Barcelone waiting for someone
So much people but nobody like you
Tanta gente nadie como tú
I've never felt that way before I've met you
That's why I want to be like you
Woo oo ooo oo ouu uuu yeah
Woo oo ooo oo ouu uuu yeah
Barcelone you're welcome
Barcelone funky town
Barcelone Babylon
Barcelone looking for someone
Barcelone I'm alone
Barcelone I'm so down
Barcelone Karcelone
Barcelone missing for someone
So much people but nobody like you
Tanta gente nadie como tú
I've never felt that way before I've met you

Woo oo ooo oo ouu uuu yeah
Woo oo ooo oo ouu
The song "BCN" by Fufü-Ai is an ode to the city of Barcelona. The song is sung in both English and Spanish, which highlights the international flair of the city and the relevance of the song to a global audience.
The lyrics express the singer's admiration for the city and a special someone they have met there. They admire the city for its vibrancy, as referred to as a "funky town" and "Babylon." They also acknowledge that they are feeling lonely and looking for someone to be with, and that they have not met anyone like the person they met in Barcelona.
The repetition of the phrase "so much people but nobody like you" highlights the uniqueness of the love interest and their connection despite being surrounded by a sea of people. The song's simple, catchy chorus and upbeat tempo capture the youthful energy and excitement of exploring a new city and falling in love.
