One of the all time great Buzz Feiten solos here
midrider335
I had the privilage of seeing Full Moon open up for Roy Buchanan New Year's Eve '72 at the old Fillmore East. It was called the Village East at that point. I do remember Full Moon smoked that night and Roy was none to shabby either!

@railcar123 yes, it was a great show and you're right- it was a great era for live music! Man, I do miss those days...

Buzz's solos on this track .... are out of this world .

The 'music of my mind' album (S. Wonder) has a tune called Super Women. Buzz was about same age as Stevie (18-19) when he did the guitar solo. Buzz is all over two albums by The Rascals; Island of Real and Peaceful World- worth checking out...

More Funk & Soul before moving west to become "Larsen Feiten Band, when Buzz & Neil were in upstate NY it was a GREAT scene. Don't forget Buzzy Linhart

I saw Full Moon open for Roy Buchanan over the 72/73 holidays too.at the reopened (Fillmore) Villagte East in NYC. Buzzy was Great playing his jazzy blues with a red 335 through a cranked twin. Full Moon had fine players and good tunes. Roy- as usual- was backed by a decent bar band and played a selection of rock, blues and country covers.,,,but he was on top of the world that year, at the peak of his powers and absolutely a magician on his tele that night. Great double bill
