I think that the levitation dilemma comes from sensory distortions one experiences in deep meditation. When deep enough in meditation one can experience sensory hallucinations, like losing sense of body parts, shrinking or enlargement and even the sensation of levitation. Another fact that can be confused with levitation is conscious dreaming. Whist in meditative trance one can actually start to vividly visualize a dream, a conscious dream this is called, and most of the times the mind comes up with the scenery of the current place where you are meditating. Once in this lucid dream state you can obviously break the laws of physics, since you are now in the realm of pure mind, here the limit is your imagination.

Errr wrong… someone below said qi which is correct. That’s why he said they need to give him space. Qi is being gathered, pushed, and pulled within. If biological beings are too close they end up absorbing some of the gathered qi. If that monk tried it in the woods, animals would come around him. They chanting is what he’s using to focus, but if they weren’t there he wouldn’t need it. That whole trance shit takes forever if that was the case..the monk only needed a few secs to prepare

IN FRONT of the curtain 2) sits on the bare floor 3) from behind the curtain it is very clear that no mechanical tool comes out to lift the monk (Min. 1.54 and others) 4) just as clearly it is seen (Min. 2.25) that in the floor itself no lifting tool emerges 5) in the full video it is understood that the whole story is not a trick done in the theater because 5) a large television troop with Dan Withe lived in Nepal for weeks to find the Monk hermit in the mountains, who lives very hidden in a cave. In the end he succeeded after winning the trust of the shaman of the village, one of the very rare who knew where the Monaco lives 6) in the full video it is clear that it is a cave among the many mountains present, adapted to house 7 ) Dan Withe is a professional magician and knows better than her all the possible tricks to technically create such a trick 8) it is very unlikely that Dan Withe himself agrees with Monaco because this TV show specializes in unmasking the paranormal tricks. So it doesn't make much sense to argue that this television has spent a lot of money in Nepal to come to a conclusion contrary to the series.

But the cut before switching sit position is 100% proof that it is fake. Before cut he only is a few inches away from the candles and then like 3 feets

I would like to point out something about our beautiful mind, especially for those who see just with their eyes. When you sleep at night something happens which you cannot control but sometimes feels more real than the reality itself. I am talking about dreams. The best example of a beautiful mind and its capabilities which lets you live moments never thought of, visit places which don't exist. I have always enjoyed this clip when I see it. You have a magician trying everything he can to debunk levitation by the monk and he can't do it. He thought he would get up against the curtain or pull some other slight of hand trick but nothing like that. I don't see how anyone can doubt that there are forces in our world that cannot be explained fully yet.

Discipline, Meditation, Kundalini meditation, yoga and and sex transmutation and it takes years of practice. what he is repeating is a mantra that has a meaning and it helps to go deep into the subconscious mind. No evil spirits or god are involved because they are both fictitious.

God made the energy because energy circulates through a system which is a microcosm connected to the macrocosm of which it is a reflection in an image. God creates the systems for they need intelligent design for they are an intelligent design yet not eternal thus an eternal entity designed them and gave them purpose. The universe is in chaos but within it is order this proves God exists because order can not be formed into a systemic design except by an intelligent designer.

Channeling universal energy is an almost impossible feat, I'm surprised that even he could do it, the power demands a phenomenally high concentration span, something that is way above a normal human's level of power, you can't manipulate matter and energy unless you've been training for years and even then its still incredibly unlikely that a human would manage it.

This is real and levitation is possible.. people who are not having any experience in meditation will not understand this. Kundalini meditators in advanced stage experience many of these things.. but as meditation is a process can lead to Enlightenment, in this case it’s super rare that any meditator show this kind of power in public..

You can see him put his arm inside his garment for a brief moment before he sits, he attaches a line to whatever he's got on underneath which is definitely something that wraps around both arms (two connected loops) and they never give the back shot because the line is exposed, you can even see his garment curl up behind his neck. If a man levitated it would appear as though he's weightless, here you can see gravity pulling down.

This is to the blind believers out there : Take everything with a pinch of salt. This is to the skeptics out there : There are people that can levitate, whether you like it or not. This particular monk may or may not be able to do it but there are those that can. They do it by the power of their mind and it is not possible to explain it scientifically. There are things in the world yet to be discovered by science and we must approach the unknown with the joy, curiosity and awe of a child so that it reveals it's true nature to us.

The soundtrack was edited! Dan White has said recently there was a loud sustained Flatulence noise coming from the monk just before he levitated. Now of course the flatulence didn't make him levitate but Dan says the flatulence was done in a violent sustained manner & he thought it could have been to momentarily distract his attention. In the finished version on TV broadcast you don't hear the flatulence at all, Dan & the producers felt they could not leave it in because it would be subject of ridicule. Dan also said after the sustained flatulence noise there was a strange pungent thick smell like rotten eggs & tear gas combined.

I lived in India for over twenty years I never saw a levitating monk, but there were indeed people who had seen them ... one of my friends quite by accident while visiting a monastery ... she passed by an open door and saw several monk in deep meditation , all of which were hovering a foot or so above the ground. She was the ultimate skeptic and had no alternative explanation. This clip is horrible. I believe it may be true .. but what cameraman in the world would ruin an opportunity like this one by moving his camera so erratically. And NO one is interested in the commentator.

This is real - I know a friend who has seen some monks who do it. It's like balancing your prana (air) energy with outer prana (air)...getting so absorbed that you get weightlessness, first on psychological level & then eventually physical level. The monk isn't interested in 'showing off', yet does that to make the visitor happy -- they're completely detached from these things, as these things are natural parts of his meditation process.

After he was up, they did not show behind the clothe wall and the movements were indicative of the old hidden lever trick, where a person or two would slide a platform under him and place the fulcrum, like a large block, and then pry him up off the ground. Look at the short zoom in of when he is coming down. It is short because their level wasn't long enough to make a smooth movement and it was a lot of weight for the (probably single) lifter. The Illusionist probably contracted with him and paid him well to lie to us. Shalom to you and yours as we sort out the fakers from the real.

at 1:55 and 1:59 you can see the monk sitting very close to the candles at a side view. When the camera shows the next view from the front at 02:01 you can see how far back the monk is sitting and no more side view is captured which means that the video was cut, the monk had to sit far back close to those curtains, which he sits on something like a metal arm that is living him up.

If he had a chance like this to prove something supernatural, why he didn't take this unique opportunity to make it as believable as possible. Like, having the monk with just much less baggy clothing, capturing a 360 view, sitting the monk isolated away from curtains!

So it's clearly fake, just a camera trick with some props and acting.

It's interesting to consider that Tibet is over 4,000 meters above sea level, with much thinner oxygen; and much of their system of mysticism depends upon breathing, mantras and airflow. Coincidentally, a lot of Western mountainclimbers report the sensation of an "unseen companion" at high altitudes. Western science dismisses these instances as being hallucinations, but for the native Tibetans who've lived there for generations.... I dunno, but I certainly believe that they're in contact with some "next level shit."

I really have an open mind to such abilities and to be honest I know it would take so much dedication (more than a modernized man can even dream of) to do such an ability. I can see from the comments people think its Bullshit bit none of us (not even myself) can even wrap our thoughts or true thoughts on the capability of the human mind. just imagine if we could use 100% of our brain... or even more. in my honest opinion and my fascinating curiosity and at most respect I would give my time and most of my life to not only learn such a power.... but I would be dedicated and disciplined to learn the ways of such an ancient way of existence.... i really would be open and dedicated to such a way of life. bullshit or not, this would be the life I would like to live. ✌

There was a time in the past when if someone talked about air planes they were made fun of until it became reality. I would rather accept the fact that there are many things which we still don't understand even though our creator packed us all with equal energy and powers of all kinds and left it to us how and when we discover and unlock them. I doubt this is real. But be honest...even if you see something that is real, you wouldn't be able to believe it simply because you refuse to believe something like this from the very beginning. So it could never be possible to convince anyone who's decided to not believe.
The people who speak of devil's when they see something that doesn't fit their belief system simply demonstrate their own devil: you feel insecure about your belief and start to attack something, although nobody has attacked anyone else, including you.

Nikola Tesla might have worked on something thats called zero point energie. In short everything has energie, a cup of that could vaporize all of our oczeans. Conspiracy, yeah, kinda. Just awkward that everybody dies who was working on maschines which can use this sort of energie.

There's actually monks in the Himalayas that levitate. However these people have renounced themselves from all earthly attachments. They practice mediation all day everyday and have devoted themselves to god while praying with conviction. They would never show this to westerners or anyone who aims to expose them for good or bad as it serves no purpose to them for their real purpose is self realization and to attain enlightenment. Something that is far beyond the normal individual mindset of understanding.

At 1:58 in the video look behind the monk! Look at the far edge of the shadow. I can see a flat bar behind him. I believe it's this flat bar that lifts him and not something super natural...
There are a few other clips of the shadow behind the monk. Look for the bar on the far edge of the shadow and you will see it.
