Super Stupid
Funkadelic Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Super stupid bought a five cent bag
Thought it was coke, but it was scag
Super stupid took a one and one
Then his eyes begin to bug and his nose begin to run

Oh, stupid with your ups and downs
Your maggot brain, your grins and frowns
Super stupid you're here today
You've lost the fight and the winner is fear

Do, do, do, do, do
Do, do, do, do, do, do
Do, do, do, do, do, do
Do, do, do

Do, do, do, do, do, do
Whoa, oh, hey

I mean Prince and Lenny Kravitz each built their entire careers off this song. Absolute masterpiece

RATM also took a lot from Funkadelic's sound.

Incredible fusion of funk, rock and metal. Way ahead of it's time.

How was it ahead of it's time? Compared to what? They just brought it to black folks. Back then black folk wasn't feeling white people music. For obvious reasons. After ParliFunka started rocking guitar, players felt it was OK. Now they could go off with a funky bass groove. FUNK BLEW UP! Prince, Slave, Brothers Johnson to name a few.
