Being surrounded by friends is an important aspect of life

When they go home, no love is shown
Some people might feel lonely and unloved even though they appear to have everything

They feel all alone, as opposed
The person who has no friends might feel better than someone who has lots of friends but feels lonely

Just try not to judge a book by it's cover
Don't make assumptions about someone based on their appearance

Kid, if you start reading
If you take the time to get to know someone, you may find things you didn't expect

You'll discover something under it
People might have something unique and interesting that you didn't expect them to have

So it's not right to compare lives
You cannot compare your life to someone else's because everyone's lives are unique

Some people do not have any food at all and are struggling to survive

When you got shelter and heat
Having a roof over your head and access to heating is something to be thankful for

Some people have no shelter and are forced to sleep outside in the cold

No one has all
No one has everything, there are always things we lack

So always, go on live your life
Don't worry about what other people have, live your own life

Keep your future bright
Think positively about your future and strive for success

Let's use the example of wife and husband
The song uses the example of a married couple to illustrate the point that everyone has problems

Either way, there will always be pain
No matter what life brings, there will always be challenges to face

There can't be flowers without rain
Just like how flowers need rain to grow, people need obstacles to grow and learn

If your grass ain't green enough then water it again
If you're not satisfied with your life, work on making it better

Don't stop watering until your life ends
Keep working on yourself and your life until your very last breath
