On December 2009 they released their first LP titled "Historia de la Luz" (History of Light) which was produced by brothers Renato, Ramiro and Emmanuel del Real (aka Meme from Café Tacvba) with mexican independent label Terrícolas Imbéciles.
They describe their sound as "cosmic folk" for taking elements from both traditional folk music, and contemporary psychodelic rock with lyrics in spanish speaking mostly about the relationship between colours, light, space and love.

Una Brevísima Eternidad
Furland Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The lyrics to Furland's song Una Brevísima Eternidad explore the theme of the brevity of life and the vastness of the universe. The song begins by stating that behind everything there is always something more, implying that there is more to life than what meets the eye. The chorus repeats the phrase "Una brevísima eternidad" which translates to "A brief eternity," highlighting the paradoxical nature of human existence. The lyrics suggest that while life is short, it is also eternal in the sense that it is part of the larger cosmic order.
The second verse raises the question of how to understand life in the context of the vastness of the universe. The line "¿Y cómo hacerlo si es tan poco lo que llevamos viviendo?" translates to "And how to do it if we have lived so little?" This suggests that human beings have limited experience and knowledge of the universe, making it difficult to comprehend the complexity of existence.
Overall, the lyrics to Una Brevísima Eternidad are reflective and contemplative, highlighting the mysteries and contradictions of human life and the cosmos.
