After releasing a series of moderately successful mixtapes between 2010 and 2011, Future signed a major label deal with Epic Records and fellow American rapper Rocko's A1 Recordings, which helped launch his own label imprint Freebandz. Future subsequently began working on his debut studio album "Pluto," and in April 2012 released the album to positive reviews. The album spawned five singles, all of which charted on the Billboard Hot 100. The album was later re-released in November, as "Pluto 3D." His second studio album "Honest," was released on April 22, 2014, and is also performing with his group Freeband Gang. He released his highly anticipated third studio album, "DS2," on July 16, 2015. The Atlanta rapper also released several mixtapes during 2015, "Beast Mode" in January, "56 Nights" in March, and "What a Time to Be Alive (with Drake)" in September. Future released "Purple Reign" in January 2016. The 13-track mixtape was executive produced by Metro Boomin and DJ Esco, with additional production from Southside, Zaytoven, and more.

Luh-luh-luh-luh-love
Love
You on that faded love, love
Luh-luh-luh-luh-love
Love
You on that faded love,
No, I don't need your number saved in my phone
Just follow me, follow me, follow me
Follow me home
Wanna take off my rings in my California King
Let me get you alone
Just follow me, follow me, follow me
Follow me home
Let's just feel this feelin'
Let's just feel this feelin'
High up as the ceilin'
Let's just, let's just feel this feelin'
Let's just feel this moment
We can make it last
Let's just feel this feelin'
Right now, right now
You on that faded love, love
Luh-luh-luh-luh-love
You on that faded love, love
Luh-luh-luh-luh-love
Love
You on that faded love, love
Luh-luh-luh-luh-love
Love
You on that faded love, love
Luh-luh-luh-luh-love
You on that faded love
I can feel every breath on the edge of my neck
Cigarettes and cologne
Just follow me, follow me, follow me
Follow me home
No, I don't know the time and I don't know what's next
But I know that it's on
Just follow me, follow me, follow me
Follow me home
Let's just feel this feelin'
Let's just feel this feelin'
Try our best to seal it
Let's just, let's just feel this feelin'
Let's just feel this moment
We can make it last
Let's just feel this feelin'
Right now, right now
You on that faded love, love
Luh-luh-luh-luh-love
You on that faded love, love
Luh-luh-luh-luh-love
Love
You on that faded love, love
Luh-luh-luh-luh-love
Love
You on that faded love, love
Luh-luh-luh-luh-love
You on that faded love
Before I give my white cup up
Before I give my white girl up
Before I give my half-Dominican girl up, I need real love
I'm on my fourth stripper of the day
I keep a full thoroughbred Jamaican
I'ma find your G-spot like you dropped your location
Man I'ma give all this shit up one day
Get some love from a video vixen on the runway
You can't hold it against a king, baby
You shoulda made me better, what I need
You shoulda upgraded me already
You shoulda made love to me already
I done spent a million on you already
I done bought diamonds for you already
If you love, you can teach me, wanna learn
Take you farther than Jerusalem when it's my turn
We so spiritually connected
We goin' in the right direction
You on that faded love, love
Luh-luh-luh-luh-love
You on that faded love, love
Luh-luh-luh-luh-love
Love
You on that faded love, love
Luh-luh-luh-luh-love
Love
You on that faded love, love
Luh-luh-luh-luh-love
You on that faded love
In Future's song Faded, he is addressing a girl who is under the influence of drugs and alcohol and is experiencing what he calls "faded love." Future himself talks about his addiction to drugs and flaunts his preference for "faded love." He does not want this girl to give him her real name or phone number; all he wants is for her to follow him home. He then goes on to describe how he wants to take his rings off and get intimate with her. The chorus "let's just feel this feelin'" suggests that he wants this moment to last, despite it not being a genuine connection.
The second verse describes Future's physical attraction to the girl. He can feel her breath on his neck and notices the smell of cigarettes and cologne. He tells her to follow him home again, but he's not sure what time it is or what's next. He then repeats the chorus, suggesting that he wants to live in this moment of "faded love."
The final verse talks about Future's desire for genuine love and affection, despite his addiction to drugs and strippers. He wants a girl to upgrade him and give him real love. He mentions buying diamonds for someone and spending a million on them, which suggests that he is used to buying affection. However, he also suggests that he is willing to learn and is spiritually connected to someone who can teach him about love.
Overall, the song portrays Future's addiction to "faded love" and his desire for genuine affection and connection.
