While touring America with Thin Lizzy in support of the band's album Black Rose: A Rock Legend, Moore suddenly quite the band on 4 July 1979 and moved to Los Angeles, hoping to establish a solo rock presence. With the opportunity to tour America in support of Van Halen, Moore recruited his one-time Thin Lizzy bandmate, drummer Mark Nauseef (Elf, the Ian Gillan Band), and vocalist/bassist Glenn Hughes (Trapeze, Deep Purple), dubbing the band G-Force. Several months into rehearsals, Hughes left the band after an alcohol-fueled altercation with Moore and was replaced with vocalist Willie Dee (born William Daffern; formerly of Captain Beyond and Pipedream) and Motown session bassist Tony Newton. The subsequent tour was a success, and the band went on to support Whitesnake on their 1980 Ready an' Willing tour. However, the project was short-lived, only producing the one eponymous album G-Force, which was re-mixed by Dennis Mackay. The album consisted of more conventional hard rock radio-oriented music than Moore's previous efforts. The band also recorded the Newton and Dee-penned song Trust Your Lovin', only released as a B-side to the 7" single You.
Soon after the album was released, G-Force disbanded and Moore joined Greg Lake of Emerson, Lake & Palmer fame on a new venture, a collaboration that led to Lake's eponymous debut solo album Greg Lake.

Beast
G-Force Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴
He doesn't know the world he was sheltered as a kid
He never had a lot of friends his nickname was cid
His parents never let him go out they never let him live
He was craving the experience of things he never did
So one night he snuck out to a party
Without a damn clue of what to do with bacardi
So he didn't know his limits so when the night was finished
He staggered home drunk couldn't even speak a sentence
Falling left and right he even started up a fight
Somehow he made it over to an abandoned campsite
He thought this a great place to sleep it off
My parents won't catch me and neither will the cops
So snuck into a tent but as he tried to sleep
He felt the presence of something in the distance trying to creep
He reached around to find a light and when he finally did
He noticed a dead body that looked just like his
Cid was so scared he started running out that place
But soon he could hear something big giving chase
Racing for his life trying not to look back
Hearing branches crack and growling coming from the black
He couldn't run fast enough so he started yelling help
Just then felt sharp claws in his scalp
Before he turned around blood gushing from his head
Then he realized he was already dead
Alcohol was the beast it took him in his sleep
So the moral of this story is just watch when you drink
Its so easy to die but its so hard to live
And parents please try not to shelter your kids
Beware the beast man for he is the devil's pawn
He kills for sport or lust or greed
For he is the harbinger of death
He never had a lot of friends his nickname was cid
His parents never let him go out they never let him live

The song "Beast" by G-Force talks about how the artist is unmatched and unparalleled, describing himself as a beast that nobody can compare to. Throughout the song, he uses metaphors to emphasize his strength and power. The lyrics are filled with a sense of confidence and bravado that exude masculinity. He goes on to talk about his skills, how he makes hot music, and how he's able to energize an entire room with his presence.
The rapper then speaks about his disregard for those who question his abilities, saying that he can't disappoint his fans. He also warns those who try to mess with him, saying that they don't want to cross him. The vocals are aggressive and full of anger, signaling that the artist is in a mood to fight.

Ok...
"He looks really fine for a man suddenly experiencing the mass of 720 kg in earths gravitational field."
Better?
A pound (lb) is also a unit of mass, used in the USA. There are only three countries left on the planet not using the metric MKS system, which is a standard in science. Liberia, Myanmar and USA. The USA realized the problem, that´s why the pound has been officially defined in terms of the kilogram since the Mendenhall Order of 1893, so the lb is just an extra step.
The pound as a unit of mass should not be confused with the pound-force (lbf) which is a unit of force or with foot-pound, a unit of energy, or pound-foot, a unit of torque.
The pound-force is equal to the gravitational force exerted on a mass of one avoirdupois pound on the surface of Earth. Since the 18th century, the unit has been used in low-precision measurements, for which small changes in Earth's gravity (which varies from place to place by up to half a percent) can safely be neglected. The 20th century, however, brought the need for a more precise definition. A standardized value for acceleration due to gravity was therefore needed.
Often people are confused with the use of pound. Also scientists are sometimes.
That´s why the Mars Climate Orbiter became a nice firework in the sky of Mars on Sep 22 1999.
