I think I know how they’re going to kill Vecna. There’s so many hints leading to music, I think Eddie is going to be the one to defeat him. He said that he runs from trouble in the real world but has no problem with fighting in D&D. This is only my opinion but I think he’s going to the upside down and will take the guitar he loves and with all the references to bullets and music will have a lot to do with how vecna goes down.

@ezra Where did you get that story from? That's not true, well the part about her fear of performing live isnt true. All artists mimed for live TV shows back in the 60s,70s,80 and 90s, nobody performed live and a lot of them also mimed on stage for live acts as well. Kate Bush was big in to the recording process she wanted to make sure she followed the music right through until the end, she was also very big in to visual projects, look at her work on the stuff she produced, she was doing it all, she really is a magnificent artiste.

@NinenaiV May be correct in general, but not with Kate Bush. The annoying and brilliant thing about her is, that she wants to do it perfectly. That's why we wait since 11 years for a new album - again!
Just watch the 3:30 min long sequence in John Hughes 1988 movie "She's Having a Baby" (Kevin Bacon, Elizabeth McGovern, Alec Baldwin). It's filled only with her music "This Woman's Work", Kevin's dispair, and some flashbacks on their mutual life (in better times), just like in "Stranger Things". The lyrics do really very much match the flashbacks, Kate Bush is always telling her story...

@Fred wow you're so funny :') and no, not at all. 1 - the soundtrack doesn't need to have any lyrics, 2 - not every song matches the situation, it's mostly just about the whole "vibe" so the sound matches the scene/ it's aesthetic, 3 - this song especially fits perfectly in THAT scene and when you know the story, it's even better

Defintely an 80s song. It has a weird flow to it but boy does it get stuck in your head. At first I thought it was a song that was made up for Stranger Things rather than pay for an existing song but then I saw all the stories about it. I don't personally recall the song from my youth (born in '75) but when it played on iHeart 80's radio the other day I was like, "hey, I know that song" Then I realized it was because of Stranger Things. It's been stuck in my head ever since. More so because of iHeart radio but Stranger Things helped set the stage.
