Interlude 1
G.S.B. Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

B.I.G. is making this cream
Bitches always say what the hell does that mean?
B is for the bitches, who can't understand
How one fly nigga became a man
I is for the way it goes in and out
One by one I knocks 'em out
G is for the way the game goes in the gutter
Other MC's man they ain't sayin' nothin'
Rockin' on, to the break of dawn
Make the bitch give the pussy get the mouth I'm gone

What?
It ain't no more to it

Overall Meaning

In G.S.B.'s song Interlude 1, the lyrics seem to reference the rapper Notorious B.I.G's song "Hypnotize" where he raps about making money, or "cream." G.S.B. is similarly making money and the bitches around him don't understand how he became successful. The acronym B.I.G. is broken down with each letter representing a different aspect of G.S.B's life. B is for the bitches who can't comprehend how he became successful, I is for how smoothly he goes in and out of situations and knocks people out one by one, G is for how the game has gone to the gutter and how other MC's aren't saying anything important. The lyrics continue with G.S.B. expressing his confidence in himself and his ability to make a woman give him oral sex before leaving.

The lyrics of Interlude 1 also reflect the challenges faced by young black men growing up in impoverished neighborhoods. G.S.B.'s success can be seen as a form of resistance against the systemic oppressions they face. The lyrics also touch on themes of street justice, where G.S.B is confident in his ability to handle any situation that comes his way, "knocking out" his opponents one by one.
