MACHIDA joined GEKIDEN EXILE on JANUARY 25, 2011 after passing the DAI 3KAI GEKIDEN AUDITIONS. On JULY 2011 he was announced as a candidate for GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE and left GEKIDEN.
On SEPTEMBER of the same year he injured his right calf, he then focused on recovering. On FEBRUARY 14, 2012 he dropped out of the running for GENERATIONS and returned to GEKIDEN to focus on acting.

たまたまMステを見てて、GENEのパフォーマンスをみてた
ただ単純にダンスと歌がかっこよくて、いつもならご飯を食べながらぼっーと見てるのにその時はすぐ調べて初めて
