Prior to their official debut as GOT7, members Jaebeom and Jinyoung debuted as a special project unit entitled JJ Project in May of 2012. Additionally, four of the remaining five members of the group appeared on the September 6, 2013 episode of MNET's reality-survival program WIN: Who Is Next, where they competed against trainees from rival company YG Entertainment. Their appearance on the show gained the group many fans among netizens.
The group released their debut mini-album Got It? on January 20, 2014. The group made their first comeback in June that same year with the release of their second mini-album GOT♡, featuring the lead single "A". In October of 2014 the group ventured into the Japanese market with the release of their debut Japanese-language single AROUND THE WORLD.
The group released their first full-length studio album Identify in December of 2014, lead by the title track "하지 하지마 (Stop stop it)".

Same here, once you know them and their music it's hard not to fall for them they are talented, handsome, funny and humble kings. I was into k drama but not into kpop at all, I found myself watching IU's music on youtube because of a drama I watched on which she was, and then scrolled over other videos of kpop idols and I just fall in love with Got7 by just watching them being adorable dorks on shows, I loved their personnalities so much I never thought K pop idols could be crazy and funny like that, later on I was curious about their music to be honest I was just so shocked to discover how good their songs are and how amazing they are on stage, from their vocals to dance choregraphies they captured my heart so fast, now I am an aghase, I never thought I would be a fan of anybody and certainly not a kpop stan. I love and support everything they do as a group, as solo artists, as actors, as mc's, they are so talented I just enjoy their work and I just feel like a proud mama lol every time they achieve something or release any work out there 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
