The chaplain was praying for all of the prisoners in the chapel.

Cooking 30 noodles a day
I had to cook a lot of ramen noodles every day to make ends meet.

Blessing my bothers breaking bread
I shared meals with my fellow inmates and considered it a blessing to have food to eat.

Making boss moves playing dominos
I was able to make strategic moves and decisions while playing dominoes with other prisoners.

Id rather play chess instead
While I enjoyed playing dominoes, I would have preferred to play chess instead.

Coffee is that currency
Coffee was highly valued and often used as a form of currency in prison.

They put a bag out on your head
There was a bounty on my head and other inmates were trying to have me killed.

Blowing whistles locking down the yard
Guards were using whistles to signal a lockdown of the prison yard.

Another snitch done wind up dead
Another inmate who was a snitch ended up getting killed.

I'm Scott free ant never looking back
I am free and have no intention of looking back on my past mistakes.

At nothing in them feds
I have no fear of the federal government and their investigations.

So much contraband out on the yard
There was a lot of illegal items being traded and sold on the prison yard.

You'd thought we was warez
It seemed like we were at war with each other because of the high stakes and risks involved in the trades.

It's fucked up I made so many friends
It's unfortunate that I made so many friends while in prison who may never get out.

Who ant never goanna making it out
Many of my friends will likely die in prison and never see the outside world again.

Took me under they wing
My friends took me under their wing and helped me navigate life in prison.

And showed me what that penitentiary about
They taught me the harsh realities of life in prison and how to survive.

Took hits for me and lost good time
My friends sacrificed themselves for me, taking the blame for things I did and losing any chance they had of early release.

And now they doing double
Now they are serving twice the amount of time they originally had for taking the fall for me.

Grew eyes on the back of my head
I became hyper-aware and vigilant, constantly watching my back to avoid danger.

So I can see your troubles
I am attuned to the issues and struggles of those around me and want to help where I can.

Never forget about my brothers
I will always remember and care for the friends I made in prison.

Putting money on they books
I am sending money to their accounts so they can buy necessities and comfort items in prison.

It's crazy how they forget about you
It's shocking how quickly people forget you when you are incarcerated and out of sight.

When you jammed up in them brooks
When you are stuck in prison and unable to communicate with the outside world.

Went from Louisville Metro to the Roader farm
I was moved from one prison to another, from Louisville Metro to Roader farm.

From the Roader farm to Luckett
I was moved again to Luckett prison.

From Luckett out to Eddyville
I was transferred from Luckett to Eddyville prison.

From Eddyville to eastern
I was moved once again from Eddyville to the Eastern prison.

From easter back Lil sandy
I was then moved back to Lil Sandy from Eastern.

From Lil sandy to lee county
Next, I was moved to Lee county prison.

From lee county to North point
I was then transferred to North Point prison.

North point back to Blackburn
I was moved again to Blackburn prison.

From Blackburn to Bell County
I was transferred yet again, this time to Bell County prison.

From Bell county to KSR
I was moved to KSR prison.

From KSR to Green River
I was transferred again to Green River prison.

Green River to Western from Western
I was moved to Western prison after leaving Green River.

Got in a fight and got thrown out in the hole
I was involved in a fight with other inmates and was punished by being thrown into solitary confinement.

Got reclassed by my caseworker
My caseworker re-evaluated my status and circumstances in prison.

To find out I done made parole. My nigga.
I was granted parole after my caseworker reviewed my case and situation.
