Paul, that was astoundingly beautiful. It took me back to when my parents told me they selected this piece to be played at their wedding in 1946. It has always been a favorite. They have both been with their Lord and Savior now for almost 10 years and at times like this I miss them so. Paul thank you so much for achieving the emotional level that you do when you play. You deserve all the best, and much success.

Your articulation of the different voices is so masterful; it really brings out the nuances of the piece and is such a treat for the ears. You share so many wonderful performances, it's really appreciated.

This is definitely the best recording of this piece I have ever heard. The beautiful sounds of the piano give a calming feel. Beautiful as always, and I very much like the recording angle where one can see your hands.

To keep a particular finger pushing stronger than others while playing chords is really challenging and yet fun. Thank you so much for sharing this precious one!!!

André de Lacerda Santos

I just focus my attention on what I want to sound stronger.

My technique is to imagine the main voice and the accompaniement apart even though you use your right hand to play both. This way, it feels to me as hard as playing two voices. Hope this helps :-)

Thanks a lot, Paul. I can almost imagine the sheep on the fields grazing with the countryside at the background. Reminds me of what is truly good on earth and the good old simple life.

Beautiful comment Debbie, I always picture the same thing as well...except I live near them sheep :)

Selmer Reference54

This has a symbolic meaning, not a real sheep grazing...It is US grazing.

EpigeneticAlteration

This is absolutely incredible! It sounds like a modern piece, yet was written hundreds of years ago.
