After the disintegration of the group in 2005, Gabriela starred in a Colombian soap opera entitled 'Al Ritmo De Tu Corazón' (To The Rhythm Of Your Heart), where also sang and composed the main theme for it. This international situation leads to several well-known producers to offer her launch as a soloist.
Villalba released her debut album Todo Bien in 2005. . Her first and only single "Me Doy Vueltas" became a number one hit in Ecuador.
On the 30 of May 2006, in Quito, Radio ''Exa'' invited Gaby to be the opening act of the famous band Kudai that happened to be touring in Ecuador. Kudai’s manager was amazed by Villalba’s vocals and decided to ask her to temporarily replace one of the absent singers.
One month later Nicole Natalino Torres made public her departure from Kudai, and on August 2006 Gabriela officially became part of the group.

Felicidades Gabriela!!! Creo que tienes un gran talento, la calidad de tu disco es muy bueno, no te rindas, continúa, no desmayes; grandes artistas antes de ser reconocidos, tuvieron que pasar por mucho, les tomó años hasta conseguir su fama. Si es lo que amas, aférrarte con uñas y dientes.

Estoy cansada de leer comentarios de toda la manga de ardidos y arenosos, que critican a Kudai por ya no ser lo mismo, y critican a Gabi por la cantidad de rumores que corrieron en todo este tiempo. Quiero decirles que tanto Gabi como Nicole, tienen unas voces increíbles y ambas tienen un futuro muy grande, porque la vida las premió con un don increíble para la música, y bueno.
