She was born in the Jurunas neighborhood, on the outskirts of Belém, Gaby began her career as a singer at the Parish of Santa Teresinha do Menino Jesus, where she participated in the choir. She drew attention for her deep but soft voice, having been invited to perform in bars in the capital of Pará. She achieved great success in music from Pará with the Banda Tecno Show.
Known for her exuberance and her extravagant costumes - consisting of large earrings, 20cm high shoes with LED lights, colorful clothes, false eyelashes, hair extensions and colorful accessories -, she was one of those responsible for the emergence and diffusion of tecnobrega, rhythm that turned into a fever in the Northern Region of Brazil. She became known nationally after releasing the song "Hoje Eu Tô Solteira", a version of the song "Single Ladies", by the American singer Beyoncé. The success of the song earned Gaby the nickname "Beyoncé do Pará". Her second national hit, "Xirley", already has more than a million hits on YouTube.

Faz o T, faz o T que eu quero ver
Faz o T, faz o T, solta o batidão
Eu já tô sentindo, tá chegando a hora
Novo combate tá pra começar
Índio pequeno prepara sua flecha
Grande guerreiro vai se transformar
Tribo em festa invade a floresta
Todos a postos aguardam seu líder
Nave sonora vai nos comandar
Cacique dá grito de guerra a ecoar
E faz o T, faz o T
Esse cacique é fantástico, a galera consagrou
T, faz o T, T
Tribo tá chegando do Pará, essa batida é muito show
Faz o T
Esse cacique é fantástico, a galera consagrou
E faz o T, faz o T, T
Vem lá do Pará, solta a batida que é show
E faz o T, faz o T, T
Cacique é fantástico, a galera consagrou
E faz o T, faz o T, T
Tribo tá chegando do Pará, solta a batida que é show
Faz o T
Esse cacique é fantástico, a galera consagrou
E faz o T, faz o T

The lyrics to Gaby Amarantos's song "Faz O T" depict a traditional ceremony in which an indigenous tribe prepares for battle. The opening lines call for the tribe to perform the "T," a dance or battle preparation ritual. The song describes the tribe's excitement as they await their leader and the sound of their instruments. As the leader begins to command the group, the song's rhythm intensifies and the spirit of the tribe grows stronger.
The lyrics reflect on the power and strength of the indigenous people, who are portrayed as fierce warriors while still enjoying a celebration. The celebration is disrupted by the "batidão," a term for the heavy bass rhythm that energizes the celebration. The song creates images of the tribe in full traditional attire, with face paint and arrowheads, preparing for battle.
Overall, the song emphasizes the importance of tradition and unity while celebrating the strength and resilience of indigenous culture.
