My favorite mon is Dragonite and I'd love them to reference their many intro animations and poses they had over the years. That just in general for all mons really. I think it'd be a good way to give natures additional depth, so enter ready for battle, others act like they're just playing and other unaware of the combat but read to follow their trainers every command!

While it's not one I use much, my favorite pokémon is Butteefree. Episodes 3 and 4 of the anime opened my eyes to the concept of the franchise and Butteefree is the perfect example in my mind to the trainer's journey.

I sure hope the patreon goal gets reached quick. I would love to see your ideas on how to improve Pokémon games. I don't know a whole lot about the games so it will be nice to go "oh yeah that's a thing that could be better." I never deep dived into them or got into the competitive aspect. I just flamethrower my way through the game and hope it works lol.

I feel like Arceus’ side quests are a step in the right direction too. To use the actual best Pokémon as an example: Bidoof’s Arceus Pokédex entry reads “There have been incidents involving Bidoof sauntering into villages and gnawing on the houses without a single care,” which is reflected in an early game side quest where you have to find bidoofs gnawing on things around Jubilife (and then they get hired as construction bidoofs cause they’re the goodest doofs).

The quests where you’re trying to find a good place for Chimeco and hunt down a very annoying Mr. Mime also come to mind.

I really hope they continue with that type of world building alongside embedding it more into the gameplay loop.

Agreed, I think Pokemon's peak form is when things like that stop being small side quests and start being what make up the experience as a whole. The day to day doesn't have to completely revolve around this all encompassing goal, especially in a world like this where there's so many ways that the people in it already canonically engage with it.

I think my favorite two are swampert and flygon, I do like the idea of representing their personalities more than what is currently in the games

I feel that of we a going to see such investment into the personality of each Pokémon, it can only happen in a "let's go" kind of game. Limited roster and scope do wonder on finer details.

I love the fact that pokemon... actually I've always hated the battle system. I hate turn based combat a lot of the time. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy strats, just... something seems/has seemed boring to me about Turn Based Combat, a lot of the time. There are outliers, ofc, but it just isn't my fave. As for Charizard... Big dragon go raor!!!!

Having Pokémon behave by their nature in the wild would be cool for not having to catch the same Pokémon a bunch of times until you get a nature you like and will also be nice for nuzlockes.

Also it never made sense that Charizard stopped listening to Ash, Ash literally saved his life and Charmander loved Ash for that but evolution made that change for some reason

As a charizard fan ( seriously I own a Charizard binder with the first 4 pages being only Charizard line cards. I disagree with this wholeheartedly.

Charizard is definitely an overrated Pokemon it didn't help that in SWSH that Leon's ace is a Charizard,Heck I'm hoping in Pokemon SV that we get a Pokemon in the new region that would be new champions ace kinda like how Garchomp is Cynthia's ace.(and as you can tell my favorite pokemon) I love Charizard but I really want to see the other starters shine.
