Fun fact: Game Freak liked so much this song, that they put in 3 different cities, Rustboro, Manville and Mossdeep, that's the song that repeats more in the game if you don't count the route songs

God I love this song. If you think about it, this game has been out for about 7 years now. I was 9 when it came out and I still was one hell of a pokemon fan back then. Ahh nostalgia is amazing... I think I'll play Ruby version again for old times sake.

Emerald was the first game I EVER owned. Godangint, I miss these times. I loved my Blaziken I loved my Flygon Heck, this is the only Pokemon game i will EVER play now, for the nostalgia alone.

It has been almost 8 years since i first played pokemon, it was sapphire that got me into the series, granted i had to play it on an emulator because no one sells anything nintendo AT ALL in the whole damn country, but it is what it is

So many memories, the new ones like diamond can't compare to anything like this. Emerald was my first GBA game that i completed (storywise), Diamond surely has some interesting music and stuff, but nothing can compare to the hoenn and kanto classics. This, for example, is the classic example of nostalgia.

actually if you look at full scale pictures of the two cities carefully, you will notice that both have the same color scheme (yellow), the pokemon center is placed in the same spot. (bottom left) and the gym is in the same place. (top right) and they are on the left side of their region's map

I like this idea, similar to how GTA 3 had you complete an amount of missions to access the bridge to the other island. I also think there should be small quests like having to show people around, without it being automated.
