New Day

New day dawning
Birds tunin' up
Stars are fading out
This crazy world got another day older
And I'm no wiser to what it's all about
Sun, clear sky, sandals worn in
Clouds on fire, my shadow on the ground
The days got gold, just waiting to be found
Here I come
Here I come
For a new day has just begun
Here I come
Here I come
A new day has just begun
Stage is set, parts are for the takin'
Carpe diem, fight the good fight
Curtain up, the citys 'bout to wake and,
And I've got you, in my sights
Here I come
Here I come
For a new day has just begun
Here I come
Here I come
A new day has just begun
Here I come
Here I come
Here I come
For a new day has just begun
Here I come
Here I come
Here I come
A new day has just begun
Here I come
Here I come
Here I come
For a new day has just begun
The lyrics of the song "New Day" by Gareth Dunlop describe a moment of awakening and hopefulness. The singer wakes up early in the morning, just as the dawn is breaking, and observes the natural world coming to life. The birds are singing and the stars are fading away, making room for the sun and clear sky to appear. Despite feeling like he hasn't gained any more knowledge or understanding of the world, the singer is still hopeful and open to the possibilities of the new day. He mentions his worn-in sandals, suggesting that he's ready to embark on a new journey.
The second verse of the song introduces the idea of seizing the day and making the most of the opportunities that come your way. The singer is ready to take on any challenge, as he believes that he has someone special in his life by his side. The metaphor of the stage and the curtain going up suggests that the singer is ready to perform and face whatever the day has in store for him. The repetition of "Here I come" at the end of each verse confirms the singer's eagerness and determination to face the new day with confidence.
Overall, the lyrics of "New Day" convey a sense of positivity and optimism, even in the face of uncertainty and doubt. The song encourages listeners to embrace new opportunities and approach each day with an open mind and a hopeful heart.
