His podcast (The Gareth Emery Podcast) has fans all around the world and is regarded as one of the most consistent and exciting podcasts around. In 2009, Gareth Emery launched his own label - Garuda and has released tracks such as Exposure, Metropolis etc. Gareth Emery also delivers with his unique remixes. The highlight so far being the remix of Oceanlab's Lonely Girl featured in the Oceanlab Remixed album (June 09).
“Boring DJs be very afraid: Gareth Emery is about to kick your arse”. So said Mixmag, when in 2002, they took the bold step of predicting that a virtually unknown 22 year-old would rise to become a major dance music star. However, six years later, it’s likely that even their expectations have been well surpassed. His current tour diary reads like the departure board at London’s Heathrow Airport. Desert island raves in Indonesia and snow-drenched mountains in Vancouver sit alongside major global events like San Francisco’s iconic Love Fest and Holland’s 30,000 strong Trance Energy. The likes of Asian superclub Zouk and Bondi Beach in Sydney complete the picture: in short, you’ll find Gareth at a mouth-watering, hand-picked selection of the planet’s coolest clubs and events, including UK super brands like Ministry of Sound and Gatecrasher.
When not on tour, he’s kept rakishly busy in his Cambridgeshire studio as one of the scene’s most in-demand producers and remixes. If you’re not familiar with anthems like ‘More Than Anything’, ‘Formentera What’ or his seminal classic ‘Mistral’, you’re probably a little out of touch with the modern dance scene, but suffice to say that Tiesto, Oakenfold, Ferry Corsten and Judge Jules are all big fans, and Paul van Dyk and Armin van Buuren liked his work so much that they both commissioned him to work on their respective labels (Vandit / Armind). However, the majority of his music is still released on his Five AM imprint, (described by DJ Mag as ‘the most consistent trance label in the world’), where he’s a co-owner and A&R. Whatever the label, one thing that’s clear is that Gareth Emery stamps his hallmark of quality on a record, people listen.
Always ahead of the game, Gareth was the one of the first leading DJs to embrace podcasting when he started his fortnightly radio show The Gareth Emery Podcast in early 2006. The show become an overnight success, immediately becoming an essential download for savvy dance music fans, and its widely imitated format has since helped to explode the popularity of dance music podcasts. It was also nominated for a Miami WMC IDMA Award for ‘Best Podcast’ along with Roger Sanchez and Pete Tong in 2007.
Although he always ranked well in the annual DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll, he became cynical about the amount of advertising and self-promotion that DJs put into it, and in 2013 asked fans not to vote for him.
Gareth haș worked with a number of collaborators and vocalists, including his sister Roxanne Emery.

U & Me
Gareth Emery Lyrics
I'm not saying I'm not sorry
Just looking for another you
It's not getting any better, better
I'm not saying I'm not sorry
Just looking for another you
It's not getting any better, better
But what I can I do?
When there's something wrong
When we keep holding on to the best days?
I'm not saying I'm not sorry
Just looking for another you
Looking for another you
Just looking for another you, another you
Just looking for another you
I don't know any other way to show
It's not getting any better
I think we both know there's something wrong
But we keep holding on to the best days
I'm not saying I'm not sorry
Just looking for
I'm just looking for another
I'm just looking for another you
I'm just looking for another
I'm just looking for another you
Just for another you
Just looking for another you
It's not getting any better, better
I'm not saying I'm not sorry
Just looking for another you
It's not getting any better, better
But what I can I do?
When there's something wrong
When we keep holding on to the best days?
I'm not saying I'm not sorry
Looking for another you
Just looking for another you, another you
Just looking for another you
I don't know any other way to show
It's not getting any better
I think we both know there's something wrong
But we keep holding on to the best days
I'm not saying I'm not sorry
Just looking for
I'm just looking for another
I'm just looking for another you
I'm just looking for another
I'm just looking for another you
Just for another you

"U"
(feat. Bo Bruce)
Walking down the highway traffics coming my way
all I see are flashing lights
People wearing blue suits wanna know the real truth
how many did I have tonight?
Looking at the wreckage anyone would guess that all inside had died
But I'm alive
Wake up in a strange place angels over my head
one of them is shouting clear
1000 bolts of lightning bring me back to life
and it's a miracle that I'm still here
As I'm coming too, screaming out for you I need you by my side
Now I'm alive
No I didn't pray to God
No I never saw the light
No I didn't watch my life go flashing right before my eyes
No I didn't do the things that they all said that I would do
I just close my eyes and all I saw was you
All the things in my head everything left unsaid
I never got a second to say
Knew that I adored you the moment that I saw you
just terrified you'd push me away
Though we're dying slowly just want you to hold me what are we waiting for
We're alive
No I didn't pray to God
No I never saw the light
No I didn't watch my life go flashing right before my eyes
No I didn't do the things that they all said that I would do
I just close my eyes and all I saw was you
If I don't die lying in the rain and I live another day
then I'd run to you
Cos I don't have regrets just things I never say I need you
No I didn't pray to God
No I never saw the light
No I didn't watch my life go flashing right before my eyes
No I didn't do the things that they all said that I would do
I just close my eyes and all I saw was you

Omg I never knew how beautiful the lyrics was until I looked them up today <3
Walking down the highway,
Traffic"s coming my way,
All I see are flashing lights.
People all in blue suits,
Wanna know the real truth,
How many did I have tonight?
Looking at the wreckage,
Anyone would guess that all inside had died,
But I"m alive.
Wake up in a strange bed,
Angels over my head,
One of them is shouting clear.
Thousand bolts of lightning,
Bring me back to life and it"s a miracle that I"m still here,
As I"m coming to I"m screaming out for you,
I need you by my side, now I"m alive.
No I didn"t pray to God,
No I never saw the light,
No I didn"t watch my life go flashing right before my eyes,
No I didn"t do the things that they all said that I would do,
I just closed my eyes and all I saw was you.
No I didn"t pray to God,
No I never saw the light,
No I didn"t watch my life go flashing right before my eyes,
No I didn"t do the things that they all said that I would do,
I just closed my eyes and all I saw was you.

You've got to admit it that people prefer more uplifting trance than cheesy vocals bullshit. Now Bryan did it right. He is fucking awesome. BIG LIKE from me.

This has an amazing early 2000's trance feel to it. Really chill and uplifting. It's too fucking good :)

@Bradley Wright
Yeah I got to listen trance around those times as well. I was just a kid back then so I would limit myself to some records in a shop, but it definitely took me back also!
Bradley Wright
I got into trance massively in 2006 and this took me right back.... Global gathering 2006 and then again in 2007.... might just play it one more time!! Whoop!
mlke
@Eduardo Sousa I think I know exactly which song. Does it have the female lyrics "This is the first time of my life..." when the synth drops full force...or something like that? I'll try looking
