Stand Up
Gary Moore Lyrics

You can do what you want,
Nobody can stop you, baby.
You can do what you like,
No one's gonna stop you, baby.

You've gotta stand up for your freedom.
You've gotta stand up for yourself.

You can say what you feel,
Nobody can stop you talkin'
You can go where you want
As long as your talk, you're walkin'

You've gotta stand up for your freedom
You've gotta stand up for yourself

You can do what you want,
Nobody can stop you, baby.
You can do what you like,
No one's gonna stop you, baby.

You've gotta stand up for your freedom, freedom.
You've gotta, gotta, gotta stand up for yourself, yourself.

STAND UP FOR GARY!!

Mopar1971

One of Gary's most explosive and expressive solos of all-time.... it's beyond mere words in an attempt to categorize how amazing this one is. Drums and bass also first-class, well done.

Monsters of Rock was too much for the crowd apparently, absolutely no movement!?

What a badass song, Gary could really turn on the hardcore guitar playing when he wanted to.

Ya it has gotten to the point where going to live shows is more of a drag than fun.... besides no enthusiasm from the crowds these days, everyone spends most of the time staring at their portable screen. As a young guy into older musician and bands, I used to love going to shows because I could get away from the phones and "social" media of my peers and hang with the baby boomers but even the boomers are so addicted to their screens at shows now... these days I much rather sit at home and crank tunes and play along on my guitar. I can only imagine what it is like to be on stage playing to lifeless crowd zoned into their phones instead of dancing and listening.

Can anyone else master the harmonic minor scale as well as Gary does from 04:24 to 04:41? No, any there probably never will be, amen.
