1. Gateway … Read Full Bio ↴There're two acts with the stage name of Gateway Drugs:
1. Gateway Drugs is formed by two members: Andrew Esterhuizen and David Gabriel Thorpe, of the slightly better known band Beach Party. Together are part of the Surfing Loser Space Cult collective, which also includes The Dollfins.
The first single ‘Airwaves’ is from their self-titled debut album and is best described as synthpop – in fact the whole album is in the same vain – and it works surprisingly well.
The seven-track album is 24 minutes of pure, synthpop delight and the perfect soundtrack to a lazy weekend. If for some reason you haven’t made up your mind about them after listening to ‘Airwaves’ then check out ‘The Chase’; it’s a personal favourite and reminds me of those youthful, care-free summer days.
They've kindly released their album for free: http://www.mediafire.com/?w087o72b92g6abq

2. L.A.-based alt-rock band Gateway Drugs.
Hailing from the dark streets of sunny Los Angeles Gabe, Noa, and Liv Niles are the real live children of The Knack’s Prescott Niles. Blues Williams, a sworn in blood brother, rounds out the band.
Members:
Liv – lead vocals, guitars, bass, theremin – packs a voice smoky sweet like Chrissie and Patsy but lays down sonic smoking leads like Jay and Johnny.
Noa – lead vocals, guitars, keys – croons like a teen angel then coaxes waves of pure bliss and snarling panthers from his guitar.
Gabe – lead vocals, drums, guitars, bass – pounds his kit like a freight train stampeding down the midnight rails while he howls at the moon.
Blues – vocals, bass, guitars, banjos – holds it all together, riding the dark swells with thundering lines and perfect cheek bones, trying his best to keep all the real girls from going under.
Gateway Drugs shows are a controlled cauldron of total rock and roll inspiration. All members are multi-instrumentalist lead singers, and the vocals and instruments are thrown around like chainsaw jugglers up on the high wire, or kids who have been playing together since … well, since they were really little kids. Gateway Drugs are a mind-blowing, heart-altering mix of sex, chaos, bad thoughts, young dreams, and perfect pop hits … take it now.

Finally the airwaves mulling audio
I found you in stereo
Behind my eye lid kissed you in the snow
I don't care were you've been
I don't care where you going
I don't care who you with
You never gonna runaway from love
No matter where you go they'll always be someone that you thinking of
You never gonna runaway from love
No matter where you go they'll always be someone that you thinking of
Sweet sister you move so so
Follow your hips your lips I want to know
Does a touch leave enough to gloat
You got me going where'd you want to go
I can wait for you
But I don't care where you going
I don't care who you with
I just want you know that
You never gonna runaway from love
No matter where you go they'll always be someone that you thinking of
You never gonna runaway from love
No matter where you go they'll always be someone that you thinking of
You never gonna runaway from love
No matter where you go they'll always be someone that you thinking of
You never gonna runaway from love
No matter where you go they'll always be someone that you thinking of
You never gonna runaway from love
No matter where you go they'll always be someone that you thinking of
You never gonna runaway from love
No matter where you go they'll always be someone that you thinking of
Gateway Drugs's Pop Song 3 seems to be a song about love and longing. The lead singer's voice has a dreamy quality that matches the romantic lyrics. The opening lines talk about a girl that he heard on the radio, whose voice was so alluring that it felt as if he had found her in stereo. The next lines talk about kissing her in the snow, and it's unclear if this is a memory or a fantasy. The singer then declares that he doesn't care where the object of his affection is going or who she's with, but he wants her to know that she'll never be able to run away from love.
In the second verse, the lead singer describes the girl's movements as he watches her walk by. He seems captivated by her hips and lips, and he wonders if a mere touch would be enough to make him glow. The singer then reiterates that he doesn't care where the girl is going or who she's with, adding that he can wait for her. He ends by repeating that no matter where she goes, there will always be someone thinking of her.
Overall, the song is a love letter to the object of the singer's affections. It's a dreamy, romantic song that captures the longing and wonder of being in love.

IAREBELOST
Found this artist through a band called "Gateway Drugs". I was super confused for a while because I thought this artist was that band and I was like, "Wow, the music has evolved into something very different but good on them, this is still rad". So yeah, long story short, I now like 2 different artists who are known as Gateway Drugs.
