balance
Gatopaint Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
from the bottom of the end
Pray for the ones around
Fall deep inside the edge
we must stay quiet
we won't fall tonight
the right balance on this world.
Something missing in my hands,
I Can't hold on for so long
Old scars burn my heart.
lies behind the truth,
reality can't deny,
my soul is almost gone .
Searching for the unknown,
No guidance, silence falls
Deep down fear overcomes,
Shooting stars from the above
My last breath to find out,
the right balance on this world.
Something missing in my hands,
I Can't hold on for so long
On my own, trying to
stand up from the floor
it's not enough, I must fight
all alone
Bring the balance to this World...
Bring the balance to this World...
My last breath to find out
the right balance on this world.
Something missing in my hands,
I Can't hold on for so long
On my own, trying to
stand up from the floor
it's not enough, I must fight
all alone, all alone .
To Bring the balance to this World...
To Bring the balance to this World...
The lyrics to Gatopaint's song "Balance" seem to be about overcoming an evil core within oneself and finding balance in a world that can often be chaotic and overwhelming. The opening lines, "Overcome an evil core, from the bottom of the end," suggest a struggle with inner demons and a desire to transcend them. The following line, "Pray for the ones around," hints at a sense of compassion and interconnectedness with those around us, even as we face our own struggles.
The next stanza, "we must stay quiet, we won't fall tonight," suggests the need for inner stillness and perseverance in the face of adversity. The following lines, "My last breath to find out, the right balance on this world. Something missing in my hands, I Can't hold on for so long," suggest a deep yearning for balance and a search for meaning in a world that can often feel overwhelming and disorienting.
The final stanza, "On my own, trying to stand up from the floor, it's not enough, I must fight all alone," implies a sense of isolation and the need to face one's struggles alone. However, the repetition of the refrain "Bring the balance to this World..." suggests that the singer finds a sense of purpose in striving for balance and harmony in the larger world around them.
Overall, "Balance" is a deeply reflective and introspective song that explores themes of inner struggle, perseverance, and the search for meaning and balance in an often-chaotic world.

[Brutal honest critics]
The music is awesome, well "played it".
The lyrics looks good on paper (I read them before playing the video), but the execution sounds forced over the soundtrack (the melody of the song is not in harmony with the voice, but the reverse is true).
I liked much more the feelings of struggle&hope in "Fire to Ashes" than ~whatever~ was tried to convey here.
[Rant]
For a new EP/Album ; this song should be in the slot "Reminiscence" was put in COLD.
[Disclaimer] I am sleep deprived right now (22hs awake)... may delete/edit this by tomorrow.
@SoundOfTheAviators
This is pretty awesome! Your vocals are so passionate sounding.
@GatoPaint
Thanks a lot ! :D
@adolfodef
Too much passionate...
The lyrics alone gives the idea of a meditation/problem_solving state of mind [strategy]; while his performance was like the speech of Braveheart before rushing to the enemy [tactics].
