Portmore Empire general Vybz Kartel has signed a new talent to his label, a teenaged singing sensation who hails from Christian Pen and who he has re-christened Gaza Kim.
โThe girl is talented and a good singer and we believe that she has a great future in dancehall. We chose this song, Teenage Pregnancy, because it reflects a common social problem we have in Jamaica with young teenage girls becoming pregnant early and the ramifications for the family unit when it happens. So this song addresses that situation and we have printed several thousand posters advocating safe sex, and with slogans like โStay in Schoolโ and โWait for the Right Timeโ trying to get young people to make informed decisions about sexual activity,โ he told one876entertainment.com.
