On the streets you look again

You're confident that you're on the right path, even if it's uncertain.

To exaggerate the world that's only being
You have a tendency to exaggerate your experiences and feelings, even if they aren't entirely accurate.

You observe others and their experiences.

Perhaps through a window, or metaphorically, from a distance.

Yet you know that there's so much that she's not seeing
But you're aware that there is more going on beneath the surface for others.

Still you hold one precious thought

They pretend to be something they're not, or to believe something they really don't.

Regardless of the truth of the situation.

While the truth may be betrayal, lies and treason
Even if the reality is full of deceit and betrayal.

Build their towers in the sand
They create illusory structures that have no foundation.

Down the roads at their command
They lead others down paths that have no real significance or value.

When the kingdom is the innocence they're stealing
They manipulate and rob others of their purity or naivety.

And infection easily spreads
This corruption and negativity spreads easily.

To the searching, twisted heads
Affecting those who are already struggling to find their way.

As they team up to tear down each others feeling
These negative forces work together to cause pain and destruction, even to one another.
