Aesthetically, GE is a project that refuses to land in a particular bin at the record store. A mix of vintage sounds, hip hop beats, noir riffs, dreamy vocals, cinematic arrangements and digital twinkle, ‘Cliquety Kliqk’ embraces all of RV’s musical addictions. Radically new yet strangely familiar, General Elektriks is like a friend that you meet for the first time but feel like you’ve known all your life.

Feel, feel the silence
As the match is struck
Hear, hear the cheering
As they blast the lock
Feel, feel the floor shake
As they climb up your stairs
What would mother have said?
Built by the people with the restless muses
Watch, watch the doorknob
Turning to the right
See, see the faces
As your door is opened wide
Feel, feel the chasm
As you look into their eyes
Dirty shoes on your fine floors
You know mother wouldn’t like that
Built by the people with the restless muses
Squeaky wheel get the grease
Gonna squeak loud, loud
Squeaky wheel get the grease
Gonna squeak loud
These lyrics from General Elektriks's song "Built By The People" convey a sense of tension and intrusion into one's personal space. The opening lines, "Built by the people with the restless muses," suggest that the creation or existence of something is a result of the collective creativity and restlessness of individuals. It highlights the collaborative nature of human endeavors and the constant need for new inspiration.
The lyrics then delve into the invasion of privacy. The imagery of the match being struck and the lock being blasted signifies the forceful entry into someone's world. The subsequent references to the floor shaking and the private earthquake indicate the disruptive nature of this intrusion. The line, "What would mother have said?" suggests a sense of moral judgment, as if the singer wonders what their mother's reaction would be to this invasion.
The second verse continues the theme of invasion, as the doorknob turns and faces appear, symbolizing the entry of others into the singer's personal space. The feeling of a chasm implies a disconnect between the singer and those who have entered their space. The mention of dirty shoes on fine floors represents a violation of etiquette, something that the mother figure would disapprove of. This further emphasizes the clash between the invader and the values of the singer's upbringing.
The repetition of "Built by the people with the restless muses" throughout the song reinforces the idea that human creations and spaces are constantly evolving and influenced by the collective energy and creativity of society.

I am somewhat criticizing this song, but, I do love the song, but some moments trigger my OCD.
In the beginning, when the singers are walking out of the Cafe, there is nothing inside the building to prove its a Cafe, but, that doesn't mean I'm upset, it was supposed to be shown for a couple of shots.
In several frames, there is clipping, MOST noticeable at 1:35, but only if you take a real close look.
Also in that same part, the skeleton the man helps up is T-posed (meaning, it didn't have animations before the scene commenced.)
The models are stretchy and, imo, buggy, because they don't follow the props as they shift (Although, you would barely notice it.)
Now, on the topic of the song...
Its fire, I could listen to this for hours on end and not get bored of it.
I've listened to the extended(?) version, and this version, and I love em both. Chorus (Almost every time they say "Party like a human, yeah.") is amazing, specially the way the singing and the models are linked up (Although, its hard to tell who is singing in the cafe scene)
Overall, although the animation is buggy and wonky, the song is a good listen, and the animation is pretty good, with smooth transitions and modeling. If you're struggling to learn with the animation software General Elektric, there is nothing wrong with struggling, everyone struggles at something!
