I've told the message oh Jah
To set Jah children free from captivity
My eyes behold the blessings of Jah
I've told the message oh Jah
To set Jah children free
Shiloh:
Why is it so hard for us
We find it hard to trust
The system is so unkind
Always subjecting what is mine
Gentleman:
No colonial mind - no mankind
Don't want to be led by the blind
Tell dem fi go seek and find
We will rise and shine before we run outta time
We hear bout dem world order and dem bombing
Wonder who can take it and stand up inna di famine
What the united nations and world police planning
Cause ritheous people dem keep banning
My eyes behold the blessings of Jah
I've told the message oh Jah
To set the captivity free
My eyes behold the blessings of Jah
I've told the message oh Jah
To set Jah children free
Right now you betta know
That love it a the order

The lyrics of "Blessing of Jah" by Gentleman and Shiloh are a call for social and spiritual liberation. The message is delivered with a mix of urgency and hope, as the singers seek to inspire their listeners to rise up against oppression and embrace a more loving and just world.
The chorus, "My eyes behold the blessings of Jah, I've told the message oh Jah, to set Jah children free from captivity," suggests that there is a divine force that is watching over and protecting humanity. The verses, delivered by Gentleman and Shiloh, highlight the many ways in which people are held captive--not just physically, but also mentally and spiritually. The system is unkind, trust is hard to come by, and wickedness is pervasive. But the singers refuse to be defeated. They urge their listeners to seek and find their own truths, to reject colonial mindsets, and to embrace love and righteousness over hatred and narrow-mindedness.
