Magnificent record...very evocative! Makes you wonder where Meek & Goddard would have gone with 60s music as it moved on. I wrote to Geoff Goddard in the 1990s when I first got into Joe Meek & his music. I sent it to the University and hoped he would get it! He did and wrote back thanking me for my interest in his music, he said what a 'great man' Joe Meek was & finished by wishing me all the best in my studies! I'm really glad I did now, so he knew people were still interested in what he did!

Geoff recorded 3 singles under his own name, best remembered for writing Johnny Remember me.He ended up washing up at Reading University which is why theire is a dedication to him on British Sea Power's first album - Scott and Simon from the band knew him there. His character is featured in the recent film Telstar.
