The lights go on, another game day
It's another day of baseball game, and the stadium lights have been turned on.

I grab my bat and headed for the plate

The umpire declares strike two against me, indicating that I am close to striking out.

Gotta keep my eye on the ball
To connect with the ball, I have to be focused on its position.

Swing straight, and true, and follow through
To hit the ball cleanly, I need to swing straight and hard through the ball.

Don't be afraid, whatever the call
No matter how difficult the situation is, I need to stay confident and not be intimidated by the opposing team.

Because we're never alone
In addition to my teammates, my coach is with me, providing support and guidance.

Our coach is there to cheer us on
Our coach is on the side, continuing to encourage and motivate us throughout the match.

Well, it's the wind up
The pitcher is preparing to throw the ball.

Here comes that ball
The ball is approaching the plate after being thrown by the pitcher.

You gotta pray and swing
I need to have faith and take a big swing, hoping the ball comes into contact with the bat.

Watch it 'til it's going, going, it's gone
As I hit the ball, I keep my eyes on it until I am certain that it will score a home run.

Expressing excitement over what just occurred.

I have hit a home run, and I am celebrating the success.

The team needs a home run to help us win and boost morale.

You know life can be like a baseball game
Life can be akin to a game of baseball.

Their message is to encourage and embolden us as players to go all the way and try our best.
