They broke the mould when they made him , never be another like him , a true one off great man and actor !

Added this to my watchlist only earlier this week. Fascinated by the character in Reggie Perrin and didn't even realise he'd (sort of) had his own series until recently. Today's sad news has prompted me to put it on. RIP Geoffrey Palmer, one of the all-time greats.

So glad I found this. Brilliant series. Haven't seen it since the 80s.

Absolutely marvellous. Thank you so much for sharing. Pleased to see Rodney of Only Fools putting in an appearance in the pub scene as well.

Fantastic series! Wonderful cast! Can't believe it wasn't promoted more at the time. Thank you so, so much for stepping up & posting this bit of gold Sir! :-D

In case you missed it, Geoffrey stars in BBC radio's High Table, Lower Orders, a comic mystery over two series, about skulduggery in a fictional Cambridge college. He is at his sparkling best, the dry wit and easy intelligence on top form. It is still available on Radio Sounds and as a download. Enjoy.

Thank you so much for posting these two series of a brilliant comedy. I have been scanning the DVD releases for quite some time in the hope it would appear and had almost given up any hope of seeing these again.

Came upon this by accident and decided to give it a go as I like Geoffrey Palmer's dry humour. Hadn't heard of it before. Thank you for posting. Quite sombre without a laughing track. I'm roped in enough to keep watching, though. Interesting to see the theme music is by Michael Nyman.
