Isaiah 40
9. O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!
1. Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
To God Alone Be All The Glory. Hallelujah. Amen.

Those lyrics and music were humming in my head around...easter :D Still don't know why :D

@kentondickerson

Messiah was actually written as an Easter Oratorio.

@anitabishop6520

The Messiah has two parts….regarding the birth & resurrection of The Messiah. The “Hallelujah “ is from the Easter section, but it usually sung at the end of the Christmas section!

The 'is risen upon thee' @0:36 does not equate in notation to the 'is risen upon thee' @1:07. I was taught the later notation is correct. O thou wakest and smell the coffee.
