In his early 20s, Händel traveled to Hamburg, where he immersed himself in the opera scene. There, he composed his first operas and gained recognition for his talent. Seeking further inspiration and opportunities, Händel journeyed to Italy in 1706, where he studied under renowned composers and absorbed the rich musical traditions of the country. During his time in Italy, he composed numerous operas and sacred music, establishing his reputation as a skilled composer.
In 1710, Händel settled in London, England, where he initially composed Italian operas for the Royal Academy of Music. However, as public taste changed, he transitioned to composing English-language oratorios, which combined elements of opera and sacred music. His oratorio "Esther" in 1718 marked the beginning of his success in this genre.
Händel's fame soared with his composition of the oratorio "Messiah" in 1741. Despite its initial lukewarm reception, "Messiah" eventually became one of the most beloved and frequently performed works in the Western classical repertoire. Händel's oratorios, including "Samson," "Judas Maccabaeus," and "Israel in Egypt," showcased his ability to blend grandeur, emotional depth, and dramatic storytelling.
Beyond oratorios, Händel composed instrumental music, including concertos and orchestral suites. His famous "Water Music" and "Music for the Royal Fireworks" exemplify his skill in crafting joyful and celebratory compositions. Händel's works exhibited a mastery of counterpoint, rich harmonies, and expressive melodies, earning him admiration and patronage from British nobility and royalty.
In his later years, Händel faced financial struggles and health issues, including a gradual loss of vision. However, he continued to compose prolifically, adapting to changing musical trends. Despite setbacks, his final oratorio, "Jephtha," was completed in 1751.
Georg Friedrich Händel passed away on April 14, 1759, leaving behind an immense musical legacy. His compositions played a crucial role in shaping the development of Western classical music, and his influence extended to composers such as Mozart and Beethoven. Händel's music continues to be celebrated for its grandeur, emotional depth, and timeless beauty, ensuring his enduring status as one of the greatest composers in history.

Jego Słowo zawsze trwa, clleluja! Wieczną prawdę w sobie ma, clleluja!
Chcemy zgłębić Słowa treść, clleluja! Braciom je radośnie nieść, clleluja!
Chcemy Nim na co dzień żyć, clleluja! I w przyjaźni z Bogiem być, clleluja!
Źródło życia, Panie nasz, clleluja! Ty nam wieczne życie dasz, clleluja!
Prowadź wśród zawiłych dróg, clleluja! W Trójcy Świętej Jeden Bóg, clleluja!
Halleluja! Halleluja! Halleluja! Halleluja! Halleluja!

Halleluja! Halleluja! Halleluja! Halleluja!
For the Lord God Omnipotent reigneth.
King of Kings! For ever and ever!
cnd Lord of Lords. Halleluja, Halleluja!
cnd He shall reign for ever and ever!

cnd He shall reign for ever and ever!
King of kings and Lord of Lords!/For ever and ever, for ever and ever:
Halleluja! Halleluja! Halleluja! Halleluja!
Halleluja!
The above lyrics consist of two parts. The first part is in Polish and it translates to:
"Let the Lord be with us, hallelujah! Let Him be our defense, hallelujah!
His Word always endures, hallelujah! It holds eternal truth, hallelujah!
We want to delve into the meaning of His Word, hallelujah! Joyfully share it with our brothers, hallelujah!
We want to live with Him every day, hallelujah! And be in friendship with God, hallelujah!
You are the source of life, our Lord, hallelujah! You will give us eternal life, hallelujah!
Lead us through the complex paths, hallelujah! In the Holy Trinity, one God, hallelujah!"
The second part is in English and it is a direct translation of the original "Hallelujah" chorus from Georg Friedrich Händel's composition "Messiah." It proclaims the glorious reign of God Almighty, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, emphasizing His eternal dominion and power.
The lyrics express a deep devotion to God and a desire to live according to His Word. They celebrate His everlasting truth, His role as the giver of life, and His guidance through life's complexities. The chorus, "Hallelujah," is a universal proclamation of praise and exaltation towards God.

That was BEAUTIFUL!
My all time favorite song❣
I sang first soprano since 7th grade(1980) and was used to the high vocal ranges.
In 10th grade, (1983) was moved up to Concert choir. The first day of class, (end of August) the teacher hands us the sheet music for this song.
As the teacher took role call, I remember looking at the music and the first soprano notes heading into the RAFTERS! Thought we were going to need ladders to reach them!
By time of the concert in December, I totally enjoyed the song because it was a challenge.
The Christmas concert was at a local church and we got a standing ovation! We were so proud of our selves. 😃
My senior year of high school, (1986) I joined the church adult choir, and our choir director had us do this song for Resurrection Sunday. I was already familiar with it and this time got to really listen to the words.
Between the music and the lyrics, I came to realize what a strong, powerful and beautiful song it truly is❣
In the last ten years, I have completely lost my singing voice. 😔 I was never going to make it into a career, but I enjoyed singing so much.
But there will come a day, when the Lord calls me home and I'll NEVER LOOSE MY VOICE AGAIN❣🙂✝️🙏🎶
