George Nozuka is a nephew of actor Kyra Sedgwick, who is currently the star of the television series The Closer. Kyra's famous husband is Kevin Bacon. His younger brother Justin is also a musician who debuted his album Holly in the UK, and his younger brother Philip, an actor, has appeared on Degrassi: The Next Generation. Other family members include Christian, another musician; Henry, a dancer of modern dance and two sisters: Margaret and Sandra.
George sings, plays keyboards, guitar and harmonica, and co-wrote all of the songs on his album. Believe is George’s debut album. It’s a mix of up-tempos and ballads, R&B, pop, and hip-hop beats. He co-wrote all the tracks, and it’s his personal and passionate touch toward his music that is really important to him. The tracks were recorded over twelve months in Toronto, Los Angeles, and Sweden (at LaCarr Studios). George Nozuka is the first artist to sign onto HC Entertainment, a record label owned by former boy band members CJ Huyer of 3 Deep and Howie Dorough of the Backstreet Boys.

In a pastel dress
You are hard to resist
And i must confess
Its been wait too long
Since ive taken you out
Do you have plans later on
Then lets twist and shout
I want us to be spontaneous babyyyyyyy
Have i told you that you're beautiful lately
(i dont knwo this part)
Im leavin it up toooo yuuuu
Ooohhho oohhh oooohhh
The lyrics of George Nozuka's song "Up To You" are all about wanting to spend time with the person he is singing to. He begins by complimenting the person's appearance, stating that they look "real good in a pastel dress" and are "hard to resist," and confesses that it has been too long since he has taken them out. He then asks if they have plans later on and suggests they "twist and shout." The chorus of the song sees George letting the person know that he wants them to be spontaneous and telling them that they are beautiful. The bridge of the song features George leaving it up to the person to decide whether or not to spend time with him.
Overall, the song is a mixture of flattery and a desire to connect with someone. George is trying to be charming and make his intentions clear at the same time. He wants to spend time with this person and enjoy their company, but he is also leaving the decision up to them.
