It's hard not to compete in a digital age
The urge to compete is strong in the current digital era

Faces buried in our phones like invisible graves
We often immerse ourselves with our phones like we're in a virtual tomb

Pictures taken it's no honor in minimum-wage
Just taking pictures does not yield respect or a good income

I remember my 9-to-5
I recall my previous job with regular hours

Never compromise can only dot your i's (eyes)
