1. Multi-instrumentalist, producer and songwriter Georgia Barnes. Born and raised in a deeply musical household in north west London, Georgia combined music study at London's SOAS with a stint working on the counter at Rough Trade and quickly made a lot of very natural musical connections, being invited to play drums with DIY innovators such as Kwes and Kate Tempest. Georgia herself is a warm, compelling, malleable voice as believable a sensual soul-bearer as she is raucous provocateur.
2. The band Georgia has steadily created a loyal fanbase over the last few years. Comprised of three brothers and a close friend all from the south, they are currently signed with Atlantic Records. They released an EP called the Cabin Sessions Vol. 1, which was recorded live in 2007 while at a log cabin in Blue Ridge, Ga. They have since been working on their first full studio album, recording in LA. More information can be found at www.myspace.com/georgia or www.georgia.sunrise-promotions.com.

Move Systems
Georgia Lyrics

That all or nothing so shake
I want
I am out
Listen to your real song
I′m looking at my chain I'm a ranger
We always wanted to be high and courageous
There's danger on our??
Look out for the stranger on the train
Move
The devil's on my mind now
Move
He′s all around inside now
Falling down power devour the system like an anvil of flying from one place to place
Move
Make the bones of my body break
Move
That all or nothing so shake
Move
The inner taste is so strong
Move
And listen to a real song
System′s always lie about who we are
And we won't belong
So it won′t be long
These systems always lie about who we are
So we won't belong
It won′t be long
It won't be long
I went to meet Sheila
She was a diva
Se told me that my sister never did appeal to her
So down the banks of the river
We sit there casting at the trains that we share with the crew
And they′re messing with the view??
We pulled down the system
We laughed at the system
Now no one gonna tells us that we ain't gonna blow the system
Now no one gonna tells us that we ain't gonna
These system′s always lie about who we are
And we won′t belong
So it won't be long
Systems always lie about who we are
So we won′t belong
It won't be long
It won′t be long
Make the bones of my body break
Move
That all or nothing so shake
Move
The inner taste is so strong
Move
And listen to a real song
System's always lie
And we won′t belong
So it won't be long
These systems always lie about who we are
So we won't belong
It won′t be long
It won′t be long
And listen to a real song
I am out
The song "Move Systems" by Georgia is an electro-pop anthem about rebellion against societal structures that limit individual freedom. The opening lines "Make the bones in my body break, that all or nothing so shake, I want, I am out" suggest a desire to break free from constraints and take risks. The repeated phrase "Move" throughout the song is an urgent call to action, encouraging the listener to take control of their own life.
The second verse describes a scene where the singer meets Sheila, a diva who rejects the singer's sister. They sit by the river and watch trains pass by, but their view is obstructed by the system. The singer and crew "pulled down the system, laughed at the system" and decided to blow it up, refusing to let anyone tell them what they can or cannot do.
The chorus repeats several times about how systems always lie about who we truly are, and that we will not belong to them for long. The song ends with the line "I am out," confirming the singer's decision to leave the confining structures behind and forge their own path.
Overall, "Move Systems" is a powerful and uplifting song about rebellion and self-determination, encouraging listeners to break free from societal pressures and limitations.
