You will see
What you mean to me
Search your heart
Search your soul
When you find me there, you'll search no more
Don't tell me it's not worth trying for
You know it's true
Everything I do
I do it for you
Look into your heart
You will find
There's nothing there to hide
Take me as I am
Take my life
I will give it all, I would sacrifice
Don't tell me it's not worth fighting for
I can't help it, there's nothing I want more
You know it's true
Everything I do
I do it for you
There's no love
Like your love
And no other
Could give more love
There's no where
Unless you're there
All the time
All the way
You can't tell me it's not worth trying for
I can't help it, there's nothing I want more
Yeah I will fight for you
I'd lie for you
Walk the wire for you
Yeah I'd die for you
You know it's true
Everything I do
I do it for you
I do it for you
The lyrics of the song "Everything I Do" by Gheorghe Zamfir speak about a deep, unwavering love and devotion towards someone else. The singer implores the person to look into his eyes and see the depth of his feelings for him/her. He urges the person to search their heart and soul to find that he is there and will be a forever constant. The statement "everything I do, I do it for you" is repeated throughout the song to emphasize the extent of the singer's attachment to the person.
The singer is willing to go to any lengths for the object of his affection, even if it means sacrificing his own life. He is not afraid to fight and is prepared to go out on a limb to make the relationship work. The lyrics imply that this person means more to him than anything else and he would do anything to make them happy. The song speaks to the universal experience of being in love and willing to go the extra mile for someone special.
