Ghostface Killah is critically acclaimed for his loud, fast-paced flow, and his stream-of-consciousness narratives containing cryptic slang and non-sequiturs.
Ghostface Killah was raised in the Stapleton housing projects in Staten Island, New York. In his autobiographical song "All That I Got Is You", Ghost tells the story of his childhood. He raps about how he grew up in a three bedroom apartment without his father, who left him at the age of six. Apparently, his mother had nine children.
His stage name was taken from one of the characters in the 1979 kung fu film Mystery of Chessboxing.
He was also a close friend of the three founding members of Wu-tang clan

All praises do now the neighborhood like "tony we love you"
It's all good and staying at my brother mick's house
Made his house my home enter the zone
Buried him in front law put up a tombstone
I seen bammy that's my nickname for bamboo
She like "what up tone? how are you?
Can we speak? I got some explaining to do"
And I love you for you I need a second chance, boo
I say it's all good 36 seasons was long
You got weak but I'm here to help weather the storm
You gotta just think with me shit'll get stinky
I gotta clean the whole motherfucking city
The government's greedy flushing drugs down these streets
Thugs out here criminals dressed as police
Call my name when you need me
I'll be there quick fast in a hurry
No need to worry
The all mighty gfk the master venger
New york ??? and ??? city defender
Ay yo, these streets is political, ???
The government got you on strike by the visual
The tv the crack epidemic
The real drug dealers, fake cops is true apologetic
How would you like to be in the court of law?
How would you like for me to put a bullet
In your head as large as a baseball?
Call my name when you need me
I'll be there quick fast in a hurry
No need to worry
The all mighty gfk the master venger
New york ??? and ??? city defender
In Ghostface Killah's song "Call My Name," he raps about his importance and influence in the neighborhood, as well as his willingness to help those in need. The first verse speaks of how the neighborhood appreciates and respects him, as well as him staying with his brother Mick and feeling at home. He also encounters a woman nicknamed "Bammy," who apologizes for forgetting who he was due to his absence but expresses her love and need for him. Ghostface assures her and others that he's here to help clean up the streets, which are being flushed with drugs from the government and plagued by criminals disguised as police.
The second verse tackles the political nature of the streets, with the government knowingly allowing drugs to flood the streets and corrupting law enforcement. Ghostface then threatens those who cross him or the community, warning them of the consequences.
This song highlights Ghostface's role as a leader and protector in his neighborhood, willing to fight against corrupt forces and help those who lost their way. It also exposes the systemic issues embedded in society in terms of drug epidemics and corrupt authorities.

This song is painfully too short. This should be in the last scene of a movie getting ready to go to war...a marvel or DC war.
