Hear me? It's me
(You) got what I need
I just want peace
Catch you on a Sunday
When you got the weekend off
I will never get it, I
Keep callin' you near
But I can't see you clear
Here
Allah
Allah
Allah
Allah
Allah
Allah
Allah
Allah
Hear me? It's me
Hear me? It's me
Got on my knees
Stuck with iblees
Catch you on a Sunday
When you got the weekend off
If I wait til Monday
I will never get it, I
Keep calling you near
But I can't see you clear
Here
Allah
Allah
Allah
Allah
Allah
Allah
Allah
Allah
Allah
Allah
Allah
Allah
Allah
Allah
Allah
Allah
Allah
Allah

The lyrics to Gina Dirawi's song Sunday portray a calling out for peace and understanding in a relationship. The repetition of "hear me? it's me" represents a desire for a mutual acknowledgment and openness between the two parties. The line "got what I need, I just want peace" may suggest that the singer doesn't necessarily need the other person, but rather just wants a peaceful resolution to any issues they may be having.
The title of the song, Sunday, may symbolize a day of rest and relaxation, a time for the two to come together in a more laid-back and comfortable atmosphere. Waiting until Monday may imply a sense of urgency, wanting to resolve any conflicts before the start of the work week. The repetition of "Allah" towards the end of the song may suggest a deeper spiritual dimension to the message, possibly implying a desire for divine guidance in the process of resolution.
Overall, the song conveys a longing for understanding and peace in a relationship, and the need for open communication between two people in order to achieve that.
