When you can't hold it down
I am love all there is to give
Never a thought or sound
I'll always be around
Knowing without you all I'd miss
How long have you been my light
I talk and talk and I try to make it right
How long have you been my life
I am the solid ground
When you are feeling down
Reminding you all you have to give
And when you're out of breath
Until there's nothing left
All the strength I have is there for you
How long have you been my light
How long have you been my night
I talk and talk and I try to make it right
How long have you been
...have you been my life
How long have you been my light
How long have you been my night
Always there to make me feel all right
Have you been my life
How long have you been my light
How long have you been my night
Always there to make me feel all right
How long have you been
...have you been my life

Great song from years back that I found again by accident in a re-released format with some fantastic and haunting added back up vocals- I cannot stop listening to it- who is the female back up vocalist in it? Nice touch - it really adds a nice dimension to it. Ginger, where are you guys today? Would love to see you take this live. A fan re-born

They went back to The Grapes of Wrath. Saw them last night and they were fantastic! Check them out. Oh and the amazing, Sarah McLachlan did some back vocals for them but I am not sure which tracks. Cheers
