I hated this song at first, but after listening to it carefully and understanding it intently, I find that it nudges the ugly truth about dating in today's society. Everyone needs to put some mask on no matter how thick or thin because it's a dangerous game to just reveal yourself unfiltered. Of course, it's also "strategy" because "first impressions matter." As a result, the authenticity and philosophy of love is in question. アソビで咲かせた 恋は徒花 (Asobi de sakaseta koi wa adabana): "Love that bloomed by playing around is a fruitless flower" as the lyrics goes. Intentionally or not, most people must appear like butterflies since a spider is too intimidating to approach. But if the result of playing around gives rise to this fleeting relationship, how long can you keep the charade?
