That I was such a fool
I didn't know love could so cruel
You tell me mistakes
Are part being young,
But that doesn't right
I'm sorry, so sorry
Please accept my apology,
But love is blind
And I was too blind to see
These lyrics describe the remorse and regret of a person after making a mistake in a relationship. The person admits to being a fool and not realizing the cruelty of love. They acknowledge that their mistakes were a result of their youth, but that doesn't excuse the harm they caused. They apologize and ask for forgiveness, but also recognize that love can be blind and they were unable to see the consequences of their actions at the time.
The repetition of "I'm sorry, so sorry" in the lyrics emphasizes the depth of the singer's remorse and their desire for forgiveness. The line "But love is blind/And I was too blind to see" suggests that the singer may have been so consumed with their own emotions that they were unable to see the impact of their actions on their partner.
Overall, these lyrics are a poignant expression of regret and the need for forgiveness in a relationship.
