He was one of the most influential composers in the 19th century. His works are frequently performed in opera houses throughout the world and, transcending the boundaries of the genre, some of his themes have long since taken root in popular culture - such as "La donna è mobile" from Rigoletto, "Va, pensiero" (The Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves) from Nabucco, and "Libiamo ne' lieti calici" (The Drinking Song) from La traviata. Although his work was sometimes criticized for using a generally diatonic rather than a chromatic musical idiom and having a tendency toward melodrama, Verdi’s masterworks dominate the standard repertoire a century and a half after their composition.

This is one of those moments in life where it's just a small simple Joy . I was listening to some of man-u fan soccer chants and I went "fuck what song is that is it for Vivaldi or who is it?". Google find song and I sung the tune just going lalala and the name popped up. Now here's the simple joy: to be looking for a song that I really want to listen to and there in the YouTube results is a young Pavarotti singing it, how fucking lucky am I. I hope you all enjoy this as much as I am. Unless someone else comes along and it would probably have to be blues or jazz or classical but I do believe this man right here is the greatest musician of my time and I'm 37 years old. Or tenor or whatever you would like to call him
I'm a lover of the mainstream classical pieces like Beethoven's 5th and 9th. Bach's Cello Suite 1. Johann Strauss I The radetzky March. A few things by Mozart. Wagner as well but of course(who doesnt love the smell of napalm in the morning?). I'll hand it to composers and or writers of Conte partiro as I had automatically assumed it was a very old piece. I only found out in my adult life it was written in the 90s. And Andrea Bocelli singing it is just amazing. I do believe the first time I remember hearing Pavarotti and fall in love with the way he sings was Nessun Dorma. And I'm pretty sure that's a Puccini piece.
Got to really thank my auntie for getting me into the piano and classical music at a young age The Three Tenors were her absolute favourite. And on every new years the Vienna Orchestra was always on the TV.
Although Beethoven will always be my favourite composer of all time. Hands down one of my favourite songs to listen to and if I only got to listen to one song before I died it would be Ava Maria so Props Schubert for that. I personally say the version that they use in the video game The Hitman is hands-down the best. And it is actually one of the only boy tenor songs I like.
it's my favourite song to listen to while I work on or clean my firearms and after years of doing this I just recently learned exactly what that song is about... and it made me love it even more. The only piece that comes in a close second is Ode to Joy from the 9th. And it's probably the main reason that Beethoven will always be my favourite. I would say that his pieces are hands-down the best if you're going to play them on a single instrument. I can listen to an orchestra do Ode to Joy or single piano and I would love it either way. And the piece that easily comes third sunshine in D Minor by John Murphy. I've heard three distinct different versions and they are all amazing. I would go with either the Sunshine version or the grey version.
Sorry if I got any the composers mixed up for these pieces. I just thought I would share them case anyone's on a classical kick little something for you to look for.
To the lady or gentleman that posted this thank you so much for the subtitles. Actually made me laugh my ass off.

Thank you for the subtitles
@Treydmusicmedia
You are welcome! I created it for a Music Appreciation class (and a textbook that I wrote) that I teach here in California, USA.

Thank you Joshu! I apologize for replying so late. I'm glad that the subtitles helped! I created this translation for a college music appreciation class that I teach n CA and it's linked in a textbook that I wrote: "Music Appreciation - Approaching the Past from he Present" (Great River Learning, 2020). Another of the things I do is take photographs for research scientists when they are in the field studying threatened and endangered plants. The research plots are on islands with NO digital connections. This is why I am late in responding. Cheers!

Dude, I'm glad that you enjoyed the link! I hope that you enjoyed the translation as well. I created this translation for a college music appreciation class that I teach n CA and it's linked in a textbook that I wrote: "Music Appreciation - Approaching the Past from he Present" (Great River Learning, 2020). I agree with you that Pavoratti was an amazing signer (and actor as well). Cheers!
