The cast is second behind The Beatles for most chart appearances by a group act in the Billboard Hot 100's history, and holds the record of sixth overall among all artists, with sixty-nine appearances. The cast has sold over thirty six million and over eleven million albums worldwide. The series' cover versions have also had a positive effect on the original recording artists, with sales of Rihanna's "Take a Bow" increasing by 189 percent after the song was covered in the Glee episode "Showmance".
The series features covers of numerous songs sung on-screen by the characters. Musical segments typically take the form of performances, as opposed to the characters singing spontaneously, as the intention is for the series to remain reality-based. Murphy is responsible for selecting all of the songs used, and strives to maintain a balance between show tunes and chart hits, as: "I want there to be something for everybody in every episode. That's a tricky mix, but that's very important — the balancing of that." Song choices are integral to script development, with Murphy explaining: "Each episode has a theme at its core. After I write the script, I will choose songs that help to move the story along."
Glee is choreographed by Zach Woodlee, and features five to eight production numbers per episode. Once music rights are cleared, songs are arranged and pre-recorded by the cast. Woodlee constructs the accompanying dance moves, which are then taught to the cast and filmed. Numbers can take several weeks to prepare, depending on complexity. Each episode costs at least $3 million to produce, and can take up to 10 days to film as a result of the elaborate choreography.

Attracts me like no other lover
Something in the way she woos me
I don't want to leave her now
You know I believe and how
Somewhere in her smile she knows
Something in her style that shows me
I don't want to leave her now
You know I believe and how
You're asking me will my love grow
I don't know, I don't know
You stick around now it may show
I don't know, I don't know
Something in the way she knows
And all I have to do is think of her
Something in the things she shows me
I don't want to leave her now
You know I believe and how
The opening lines of the song "Something in the way she moves, Attracts me like no other lover, Something in the way she woos me" is a reference to how the persona is drawn towards this woman more than anyone else he has ever encountered. This is not just about her physical attributes, but it includes the way she interacts with him, which makes her so special. The persona talks about this magnetic feeling that he has towards her, that's beyond his control, almost as though the universe brought them together.
In the second stanza when the persona says "Somewhere in her smile she knows, That I don't need no other lover, Something in her style that shows me," he is trying to tell his lover that she doesn't have to worry about him being unfaithful or ever looking at another woman because she is enough. He admires the way she carries herself and the confidence she exudes. He also highlights that he only has eyes for her.
In the last verse, we see the persona getting a bit unsure and hesitant. When asked, "You're asking me will my love grow, I don't know, I don't know, You stick around now it may show, I don't know, I don't know," he admits to being uncertain about the future of their relationship. However, he tells his partner that if she sticks around, they will both find out what the future holds.

Lyrics
Could be! Who knows?
There's something due any day;
I will know right away,
Soon as it shows.
It may come cannon-balling down through the sky,
Gleam in its eye,
Bright as a rose!
Who knows?
It's only just out of reach,
Down the block, on a beach,
Under a tree
I got a feeling there's a miracle due,
Gonna come true,
Coming to me!
Could it be? Yes it could.
Something's coming, something good,
If I can wait!
Something's coming,
I don't know what it is,
But it is
Gonna be great!
With a click, with a shock,
Phone'll jingle, door'll knock,
Open the latch!
Something's coming, don't know when
But it's soon
Catch the moon,
One-handed catch!
Around the corner,
Or whistling down the river,
Come on, deliver
To me.
Will it be? Yes, it will.
Maybe just by holding still,
It'll be there!
Come on something, come on in,
Don't be shy,
Meet a guy,
Pull up a chair!
The air is humming,
And something great is coming!
Who knows?
It's only just out of reach,
Down the block, on a beach,
Maybe tonight

this guy is terrific ! I have seen the movie and many stage versions but this version of "somethings coming" is the best , he has a great voice , good looks and his movement is spot on ! I can see why it would be love at first sight for maria !

Do you guys still remember those times when Blaine was actually one of the coolest characters of this series. You now, when he was this guy everybody likes and the only one true love for Kurt. What did they just do to him? How could they go so wrong with such an amazing character? Seriously!
Fitzwilliamdarcy1000
charl99ie Tbh, I wonder if it was all the people complaining about him being too flawless and perfect, which made the writers take him in a very different direction- think before you talk, people haha

Saaaaaaame (pardon my white girl). Blaine got really needy and stereotypical around season three-four. I liked him a hell of a lot better when he was that mature, hot warbler guy with a great voice.
Paige Simard
exactly😭they took him and his relationship from something pure and beautiful and made him become something very uncharacteristic and weird. it could’ve been perfect but they had to “make it interesting” by throwing weird klaine fights in and it just went downhill
Madilyn
Fitzwilliamdarcy1000 it’s funny I liked overly perfect Blaine a lot better. It made everything seem like an act, and I really thought they were gonna go down the complete mental collapse route. Like what if instead of cheating, which is the most out of character thing I have ever seen in my whole life, he just broke down. Super emotional episode right there for ya and it wouldn’t be forced the way shooting star was. I mean, I love walking on eggshells character development.
I’m dodging homework, here’s a plot outline. ⚠️TW⚠️
Take the Dream theme from Sectionals, Make it regionals. Same Klaine problem with the whole long distance thing. Mr.Schue asks the kids for their ideas for the theme “Dream”. Acoustic, Teenage Dream at the piano, and boom sobbing. Blaine confesses to self-d*e ideation (woo been there done THAT. I got slapped tho). Cut to a redo of the peanut butter circle in 3.14. This time they get Dave Karofsky to come and Emma. Super sad, lots of crying. Mr. Schue goes to tell the cheating story, Emma gets PISSED. (Wemma “breakup”) Super sad backstory for Blaine, we’re getting the depression after Sadie Hawkins all the blangst dreams. Kurt shows up mid circle. Super emotional, they reunite. Kurt says he’s staying home. Blaine is like “yeah no” and they get into a huge fight. Lots and lots of tears between the two of them. Glee club sings Friend, Please by Twenty One Pilots together. Cut to Finn and Rachel, practically the same thing as actual 4.04. Brittana breaks up the same way too. They sing the scientist as always. Oh, and Tina and Mike are in it this time.
And that’s what you missed on glee.

And they made Kurt annoying too and made their relationship toxic :/

I'd love to see Darren performing as Tony on Broadway. 😍
