Amazi-ing Grace, how-ow sweet the-e sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost but now I'm found
I-I was blind, but now, I see

T'was Grace that taught my-why heart to fear
And Grace, my fears re-e-elieved
How precious did tha-at Grace appear
Oh-oh the hour I first be-elieved

When we've, when we've been there
Lord, ten thou-ousand year-ears
Bright shining, bright shining as the su-un
We've no le-ess days to sing Go-od's praise
Then when, we first be-egun

We've no less days to sing Go-od's praise
Then when we first begun

Overall Meaning

"Glen Campbell's Amazing Grace" is a song that resonates with so many people because it speaks to the transformative power of grace. We were driving thru a small town in Arkansas a few days ago and there was a sign that said "Delight Arkansas, Home of Glen Campbell". Remembering that he was buried there we found our way to his gravesite at his family cemetery. When you walk up to his grave there is a motion sensor that activates a speaker on a big tree that plays this exact version of this song. It is a beautiful experience. I recommend anybody in the area to go by and visit.

I listened to some of his music but I never realized how talented Glen Campbell was. It’s amazing how his music, his voice can touched one’s soul. Speaking for myself.

God Bless You!🙏

@Easy E Networkobviously a Merle Haggard fan and the man was a talented musical artist, no doubt. But, people like Glen Campbell and, for that matter McCartney, as another person mentioned, are on a completely different level.
